Dear Carrie688,
I cannot for sure understand your problem. You say, you do not know how to WORK power washer. Does WORK mean FIX...or USE???? I will assume that you wish to know how to use it.
First without water connected and without gun connected...switch on the machine. If it turns, then this means the electric motor is OK. Now connect the hose and gun. Connect water supply. Now always start the machine with gun open. This will help to remove air from system. When pressure builts up, close gun, and machine must stop instantly. If machine does not stop, open the gun again and switch off the machine. If the machine continues working when the the gun is closed, this will result in a lot of damage. I do not know what model you have, because also there are old models that when gun is closed, the machine keeps running. I assume your model is recent. So the machine will stop when gun is closed. Now when finished, switch off machine and electricity. And most important release pressure from gun. Do not store machine with pressure still in it. This will damage machine and it is not safe.
Now if you have detergent, this can only work on low pressure. There are bigger machines that detergent works on high pressure. But the normal system is that detergent works on low pressure. Also before storing, pass fresh water to remove all detergent from pump of machine. Never store a machine with detergent in its system.
Regards,
Fulltech.

Iv just moved house and my gran gave us this servis rain wave gem 900 washer dryer iv plumbed it all in and then plugged it in and nothing happens please help as need a washer asap

Check outlet for power, use a lamp that you know works if necessary. If you have power your washer/dryer is not working.

Which fuse is for the washer fluid pump?

Often, it uses the same fuse as for the wipers. Pull apart the washer pump connector and see if power is present when switch is activated. If it has power when it should, the pump probably needs replacing.

My pressure washer stops running when i let off the trigger

hi there sal rick85

sounds like the unloader valve is not working or stuck closed , check the setting of the unloader valve may be set too high, the unloader must open in odrder to cycle water back to inlet side of pump - if not builds up heaps of pressure , stalls the engine - service the un loader valves on the pressure head

take look and let me know - what brand your blaster unit is i know its honda but what pump
comet - axd, lw/zw, - in line or axial cam

Looking for a diagram for my 2000 grand prix gt ... my windshield wipers work but the washer fluid does not...i was told it may be a fuse but dont know what fuse it would be.

The washer pump runs off the same fuse as the wipers. If the wipers are working the fuse is good.

What you can do is locate the washer pump in the washer fluid resevoir. You will need to remove some splash panels under the car to get at it. Unplug the connector. One wire should have 12 volts to it anytime the washer button is depressed. The other wire should be grounded all the time. If that checks out the washer pump is bad.

If you don't have power than I would check for power out of the wiper/washer switch. If there is no power there than the switch is bad. If there is power than there is a wiring issue in between the switch and the washer pump.

With the washer pump lugged in you can try to tap it while somebody turns on the washers. If it starts to work than replace it.

It stops in the middle of the cycle. And blinks sd

1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
4. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. If the above does not correct the problem, go to step 7.
7. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
8. Replace the pump.

Let me know how this works out for you. Benjamin

Windshild washer fluid not squirting in front.

They use same fuse, See if you hear it running when you depress the washer button. If not, check for power at the Dark Blue Wire at the washer pump. If it has power, and the Brown wire is grounded. then the washer pump should work, if it doesnt , replace the pump. The washer pump Dark Blue wire shoul dbe hot and the switch grounds the Brown wire.
