Can you help with this Cribs Cradles Bassinets question posted on FixYa

  1. Take out four screws (two on each side) of the front railing and top bar. They are the screws holding the front railing and the top bar to the side of the crib and the dresser.
  2. Lower the mattress to the lowest setting.
  3. Place the toddler bed railing in place. It can go either way depending on which side of the crib your toddler sleeps. We put the taller part of the toddler railing closest to the dresser because that is where our son's head usually is.
  4. You'll need 4 1.5 inch hexagonal screws to screw in the toddler railing. After 2.5 years, I could only find two of them, so I used two 1.5 inch regular screws that came with the crib. On the taller part of the toddler railing -- the screws go into the 1st and the fifth holes. On the shorter side of the railing, the screws go into the 3rd and the 5th holes.

If this doesn't help you can try contacting the store you bought it from.

I just got a used graco metal baby bed and can't figure out how to install the side rail that moves up and down. Please help

These are complictaed and not very safe. Most of the older Graco cribs have been recalled.
In my experience, the metal dropside guides can come loose. This may allow a child to slide down thru the edge of the mattress and the metal dropside. I would not use the crib. It is truley unsafe.
If you insist on using it, drill a hole thru the headboard and footboard and drive a screw thru
into the soft plastic guides on the dropside to make it a stationary side. Please, for your childs sake,
get a new crib. You only get one chance with a child. It's not worth it.

2002 Graco crib instructions . i bought a used 2002 crib and I need to know how to put it together.

ok first thing first ,  some graco cribs and other products from 2002 -2010 are being recalled , so what crib model do you have? second , putting together a crib is very easy , . First , take the head board and stand it up , next find the side railings and one by one put the screw thru the rail and into the headboard , hold it in place untill it is where it needs to be , then put the second railing on , the screws should go thru the rail and into the headboard with the headboard in back of the rails, after the rails are secured then hold the foot board in place untill the screws are fastened into the rails as well , after you do this , then go around and make sure all the screws are tightned, then take the mattress spring and place it inside the setup rails and screw it unto the places alotted for the screws , then after this , place the matress inside and your done....if this doesnt help , please email me at [email protected] and tell me which model it is

Baby crib model 11 13 64 ? made in 9-15-09 made in Dothan AL. is this model a recall bed ? if not I need a set of plastic slides on the rails for replacement [email protected]

You will need the name of the manufacturer of the crib to determine if the crib has been recalled or to order replacement parts.
I believe the rails you are looking for are for the drop side. Many drop side cribs have been recalled this year. You should go to www.cpsc.gov and look up the manufacturer and model number.

Kinderkraft crib model 710

On the bottom of the front rail that drops (the drop rail), there are two plastic tension pieces (one at either end) that engage the two fixed, bottom rail slider hardware (the long, narrow pieces screwed top-and-bottom into the lower, inside portion of the tall, upright crib ends). These tension pieces are spring loaded, and the outer edge of each one rides along the outside (i.e., the parent's side) of the two bottom metal rail guides. Their purpose is to supply outward pressure against the lower part of the drop rail - that's what you push against when you press your lower leg upon the bottom of the drop side of the crib to lower it. They insure that when up, the drop side locks safely into place. I suspect these tension pieces are your problem. It sounds like they are improperly installed. Good luck.
