SOURCE: My moutrie L50 GameSpy Digital Camera always show a busy signal and it flashes but doesn't take any pictures, what can be the problem?

It only has 32megabytes of capacity built in. It may be full. If you added an SD card for more memory, it likely needs to be formatted for the camera; Especially if you had used the card on a different camera previously.

Clear the memory, and/or format and you should have it working fine.

You can check the overall function of the camera portion by hooking it up to the TV with the cable.

Testimonial: "Thank you for your help. Can you tell me how to format my memory card? The card that I am using actually did come out of a camera that I have laying around. I'm new to this.."

My sony w370's flash doesnt work...i mean the flash does work bt only smtyms.....wen it is kept for a few weeks without being used...........then it work and after clicking 15-20 images it again doesnt...

Be aware your camera is not a professional DSLR with external flash lights.
Most camera's will get warm or even hot when you take several pictures with the flash on in a short time. Most manuals do have a warning about using the flash. Sometimes the camera is only allowed to take a picture with the flash on, once a minute or even once in a couple of minutes. When the camera becomes hot, it will prevent itself against overheating, by not charging the flash again.

Still it can be possible something els is wrong with your camera, but try to shoot with the flash, with greater intervals and look if you can use the flash any longer. Also when the battery is drained, the flash won't charge. When shooting continuously, you will drain your battery much quicker.

Samsung L50: I get a very blurry - near white image when taking pics outside. Inside the pics look ok, a little blurry though. Movie recording works fine. Help please. Tried changing batteries, reseting...

Check if you are using Auto settings. It seems you are using Manual (M) and the exposure time is too long for outside conditions (inside there is less light).
Switch the camera to Auto and it should work fine. Please let us know how it went.

A640 freeezes while taking pictures

Your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

Kodak easy share digital camera m863

I have a Easy Share M863 and have had it less than a year. It was working great and then last week I tried turning it on and it would not open. I thought it might be the battery needed charging so I did that. It still will not open. I contacted Kodak and they told me they would give me 15% on a new digital camera. That is not what I wanted. My camera is not even a year old. It should have lasted longer I think.

''err 99'' code appearing fairly often recently on Canon Rebel XT

To isolate the cause of the issue, do the following: -

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Remove the lens, battery, and CF card.
3. Allow the camera to sit without power for approximately 20 minutes.
4. Insert only a fully charged battery, and turn on the camera.
5. Depress the shutter button as you would to take a picture.

Does the “ERR 99′ message appear? If so, the camera may be faulty and requires a service. If it does not, then: -

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Insert the CF card.
3. Turn on the camera.
4. Format the CF card in the camera.
5. Depress the shutter button as you would to take a picture.

Does the “ERR 99′ message appear? If so, then the CF card is faulty. Try a different card. If the message does not appear: -

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Clean the gold contacts on the lens by GENTLY rubbing them with a pencil eraser or soft cloth. Keeping the camera face pointing down, also clean the gold contacts on the camera, being careful that you do not let any debris fall into the camera body.
3. Reattach your lens.
4. Turn on the camera.
5. Depress the shutter button as you would to take a picture.
If the “ERR 99′ message only appears when one particular lens is attached, then that lens should be examined by a service technician.
If you see the “ERR 99′ with a different Canon lens attached, then the camera is faulty and should be serviced.

Smoke fume from canon sd400

You should send the camera with the battery for service to find out if there is a defect on any internal circuit boards, or if the fault is actually the battery. There is no reliable way for you to determine this yourself, unless you have the proper setup and training to service these cameras.

Canon S2IS " change the batteries" problem

This worked for me after having the persistent "Replace the batteries" problem for about a year straight.

1. Reset the camera, according to the instructions in the manual. (Power on, hold MENU for 5+ seconds, selectOK, wait, turn camera off).
2. Remove the date/time battery for
two minutes (the tiny one in the battery compartment in its own little plastic holder). Replace after 2+ minutes.
3. Important: Insert freshly charged batteries into the camera.

I tried everything short of getting a new camera, and this was the ONLY thing to work for me. Its also simple enough that it takes 3 minutes to do, in case it were to ever happen again while on vacation, etc.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

Drained Batteries

I use professional $70k cameras for work and it's the same type of thing. If you're not using it, take the batteries out. With my A75 I have some energizer 2200mpa rechargeable AA's and the seem to last about a month or so. If I happen to be "cranking" through pictures though (upwards of 300-500) in one sitting, it will suck them dry. The rechargeable batteries last longer than the Alkalines. I was heistant with the rechargeables but for $20 I picked up a 15 minute charger and the 2200mpa AA's, now I recommend them to everyone with a digital camera. Digital cameras eat Alkaline batteries in a hurry.
