A really loud fan can be one of two things - neither is very good to have for very long. Most newer motherboards support multi-speed fan operation based on CPU temperature. This keeps fan noise at a minimum because the fan only has to run fast (and loud) if the CPU exceeds a specific threshold temperature. The loud noise could also be from a fan that is starting to fail and is binding, thus running slower than normal. Either of these conditions is indicative of a problem that kills PCs - heat. Open the case and carefully examine the heat sink fins and the fan on the CPU. If they are caked with dust (especially the fins), then the CPU will likely overheat and shut down. Get some canned air designed for cleaning electronic components and blow the dust from the fins and the fan. Restart your system a see if the fan runs slower and quieter now, Machines that are in dusty environments, around smokers, or placed on the floor are especially prone to dirt buildup. Periodic cleaning with the canned air is the way to keep your PC happy and healthy.

These rackmount servers are really loud and are meant to be run in a data closet.
Start my checking the ram - remove all but one stick (cant remember if these work in pairs). The idea is to check each stick to see if you have a dead stick.
These servers do a full system check often before you will see any video.
You may try inserting a wireless or wired mouse in to a USB port to get some activity. As long as your screen comes up, the movement of the screen should be taken over by the mouse and temporarily bypass the touch screen application. You need to go to Acre, at their Web Site and download the drivers to allow the touch screen to operated. If after all your efforts fail; the unit needs a professional technicians services.
Reduce laptop computer fan noise by getting rid
of dust buildup on the exhaust system with compressed air and making sure the
computer is sitting on a surface that allows for airflow.
Replace the exhaust unit on a laptop fan if the
noise persists with advice from a computer programmer in this free video on
laptop computers.
Now usually when your laptop fan is running loudly it's because your processor
is heating up and it's requiring the fan to spin faster than normal to cool
your processor off.
Now a lot of times this can be caused by dust
that's built up in the exhaust system on the back of your laptop.
So what I'm going to show you to do is take a
can of air duster, you can find this at basically any computer store, office
stores sell this as well, and what you're going to do is you're going to take
your laptop and find the exhaust area.
It's usually on the back or the bottom. In this
case it's right here on the back of my laptop right here.
And I'm going to take this compressed air and
I'm just going to, it has a little straw that directs the air to where you
would like to blow it at, and I'm just going to, from an angle here, blow some
air into that.
You want to do it in really short bursts too
because if you hold the button down, it'll actually condense the air and it'll
come out as liquid drops and you don't want that to get into your computer.
Do it at an angle, that way the air comes in and
goes out and pulls along with it any dust that it might be picking up.
Now what that does is it's just going to clear
out these air pathways here.
So once you have your laptop good and clean,
also make sure that you're sitting it on a surface where air can get inside the
laptop.
Basically air flows under here, it's pulled in
by the fan and then goes out of the exhaust.
Now that's going to cool your processor as best
as it possibly can.
So make sure that you're getting good air flow.
If your laptop fan is still
running very loudly after that, chances are a ball bearing is loose inside,
inside of the fan and really you're just forced to replace it at that point.
I assume that you are talking about the fan getting really loud and fast. If you are taling about the computer, then I say turn the speakers down and load up a game as quick as possible cause you have a killer rig.
i was told to put a fan at the back so i got a usb fan it hasnt switched of since been running all day playing games etc i hope this works for you (got fan from amazon )
yes one more victim! your killer was "dust"
your laptop was getting hot right? fans running loud right? then you have a GPU problem, your graphic chip is dead. it needs a new graphic chip.
It the colors wheel, the fan don't make that much loud of a noise. When the colors wheel spins off it axis it make very loud squizzing and buzzing noises.
Generally, fans are controlled by heat readings...something to check is the operating temperature that is shown in your BIOS when you boot up...(access your BIOS by tapping on the delete key, or F2 key while booting)..if it goes over 70C real quick then there is a CPU heat dissipation problem, which would cause the fan to run like this i think that it is more of an issue that your CPU died...has your machine taken any kind of hit or fall that might have loosened things?...or perhaps the heat sink compound between the heatsink and CPU failed..... but it also could be a dead MB
hi there
It seems your laptop computer is not cooled properly which might be beacuse of a broken cpu fan as you mentioned it makes loud noise.
The reason your laptop turns off by itself is because theres a circuitry built on the motherboard which power offs itself if the internal temperature raises, this is a safety feature to prevent your computer getting burnt.
Please avoid using your computer and take it to a shop where you can have it checked for cooling.
hope this answers your question
