Need schematic to trouble shoot PS 14_ KX power supply

WOW! Your power supply is exotic!... You MAY have better luck searching for similar supply models shown below? They all (apparently) all use the same supply. Methinks chances of finding a used one are quite slim.

I WAS able to locate a SERVICE MANUAL for:

Home Theater DVD Player HTS3510/12/51/55/78/93/94/98

PAGE 7-1 shows a FULL POWER SUPPLY SCHEMATIC WITH voltages and part numbers ~ YES!

Know there are FIVE different voltages provided FROM the supply... which ONE or ONES are missing?

The TROUBLE SHOOTING CHART is very well written and should help you greatly!

Most of the parts appear to be 'standard parts' except for the 2 transformers! From memory, T501 and T502?? Don't quote me on that.

your problem is most likely on the deflection power supply b Board a diode possibly d303 or mcz3001b Smps control IC . it will require some trouble shooting . and you will need a digital multi meter and schematics to trouble shoot the power supply further

Check the LM723 Regulator IC...it's 14 pins and regulates and adjusts the reference to the pass transistors http://www.eserviceinfo.com/downloadsm/21059/Pyramid_PS-36KX.html

This is alink to the p s 3 6 which is very similar to the PS-35

Is better fix to buy on.Theirs a lot good inexpensive model.Best Buy,COMP USA,EBay,etc...

thank you for your help . I have already fixed the power supply I double checked the transisters and found three bad so I replaced all the power transisters and it is fine . thanks again bob

I found this site for schematics but am interested why you'd spend the time when reasonably priced supplies are readily available from reliable vendors. I've pulled apart a few supplies and have had some luck repairing them but overall it wasn't worth the time. Switching power supplies are not the easiest to trouble shoot. Base wishes.

Sorry but if a fuse blows theres a reason 99.999999999% of the time. as a fuse very rarly goes bad all by its self. This unit is a difficult one to trouble shoot unless you have the schematic diagram. It sounds like your missing the main b+ voltage and could be the regulator ic or a capacitor in the supply. If your not a tech you will be shooting in the dark replacing parts as you need a good muti-meter to assist you in these types of repair. Good Luck

It probably has a power supply problem or a sweep supply problem?? Your gonna need a schematic diagram to trouble shoot and find out whats bad. if you cant troubleshoot electronics by using a meter or scope then I would contact the manufactuer listed in the owners manuel.. Good Luck
