How do I remove paper from paper jam?

Paper is jammed in my Brother HL-2070N and I don't know how to remove it.

the paper has ripped off and I'm not sure where the gears are to rotate them

To remove paper pull the paper with both hands being careful not to tear the paper . If you're unable to pull it you may need to manually rotate the gears that feed the paper through the printer
Now reset the printer by pressing the power button in on state to turn it off and restart
again thats all just take care that you remove the tray carefully

Paper jammed in my 2070N printer & I don't know how to remove it

That machine doesn't have a release lever, you need to pull the paper out, as straight as possible trying not to tear it. There probably is a problem with your fuser, and it will need to be replaced. Even getting the paper out, it will probably jam again on the next print.

Paper jam

Please open the front cover and remove the drum to check the jam. If not in the drum, then check the back cover, open it to remove any jammed.

Paper is jammed half way out on HL 2070N model

open the rear access door and pull the paper backwards through it then firmly and smoothly pull the paper free ofrom the fuser. pull the paper straight. should be easy.

Try this
[LED Indication]

The Paper LED is flashing.

Meaning of LED Indication
Front cover is open:
Close the front cover of the printer.

Back cover is open:
Close the back cover of the printer.

Paper jam:
Clear the paper jam. To see paper jams and how to clear them, click here. If the printer does not start printing, press the Go button.

No paper fed manual feed slot:
Put the paper back in the manual feed slot.

Memory full:
The printer memory is full and the printer cannot print full pages of a document.

Print overrun:
A print overrun occurred and the printer cannot print full pages of a document.

Clean drum unit:
The corona wire needs to be cleaned.

Brother hl-2070n; Paper jams half way through drum unit.

Usually there is a sensor right before the paper enters the fuser. If the paper sensor is bad the machine will stop feeding and output the error paper jam. This is probably the cuase if the paper stops in the same position all the time.

most likely a sensor is tripped, eiher it's stuck or there is something blocking it. the most likely place is in the fuser, back door where paper exits and geta hot. look closely you should see a black lever towards the middle of the fuser, it should be up
