My most recent videos will not open on my computer. It is the same memory card that showed just fine a few days ago. The previous recorded ones on the memory card still work fine on my computer. I can play the most recent ones on the dvd recorder, but when i put the card in the computer they do not show up. Did something get changed on my dvd/camera to not let the recent videos or pictures work on my computer? It is like they are not even on the card.

I can view the videos on my video camera but when I take the memory card out and put it in my computer, the videos don't show up at all, and it also won't open the still picture on my computer either...they show as blank. How do I know if they are in a different format?

Can you view the movies in your video camera?

Can you see any files on the card, that are in a different format via explorer on the card?

In explorer - Under my computer/ devices - you will either have a list or details of files - the details under type will give you information of the file format - i.e videos may show as wmp, avi, etc

How to restore audio files from formated Olympus digital recorder

You should stop recording new ones to prevent the old ones from being overwritten. If your digital recorder has a memory card, take it out and insert it to your computer with a card reader. If the device has built-in memory, just connect it to your PC directly. On your computer, you need a video/audio recovery program. Fine one, install and run it. The software will help you scan lost audio files from your recorder, then it'll show you what it's found. Choose the files you want and hit the "Recover" button to start recovery process.

If you're a Mac user, please feel free to try this Mac based video/audio recovery app. http://www.leawo.org/photo-recovery-mac/

Memory Error

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Why wont my computer recognize my sandisk memory card anymore

Sometimes it happens that your slot doesn't work you can use a another option like Olympus LS-10 digital recorder as a card reader for accessing the data. Insert the SD card in your LS-10 digital recorder then connect the recorder to the computer with a USB cord then it will show you two options for the onboard storage inherent and one for the SD-Card. Select first photoshop elements to read the card and then Windows Live photo Gallery to view and copy your photos.
If the Information helped you out then please give me some ratings. Thanks

EasyShare CD14 Digital Camera: i bought kodak cd14 two days ago but when i insert...

Hi sir =)
  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

Gibberish + won't finish loading Windows

remove the new memory first. if that does not help you may have some a virus, indicated by safe mode workng fine. One other thing i found would do that is a damaged Hard drive, not to likely here because safe mode works.
