i usually use my printer (hp d2360) and after printing a photo the light does not stop blinking and i can't print anymore. when i check the printer status it is offline and can't change to online even i click the online many times it stays offline and just continue to blink... anyone can help me solve this problem?

    offline error

  • vine_rc Dec 11, 2007

thanks for that jzxeg & tom... but it didn't solve my problem. i have a new cartridge and display online didn't work as well. you see, the normal printer status in printers and faxes is HP Deskjet D2300 series, if you right click it there is the option to use printer offline and after that you can change it again to use printer online right? but in my case my status is HP Deskjet D2300 offline, and when i change it becomes HP Deskjet D2300 offline-use printer offline. it never change to online and the line just keep on blinking and can't turn off the power too. unless i unplug it. but when i plug it again, the light bliks again.

I also own an HP D2360. I had the same problem with eyang and vinerc. I brought the printer to a computer technician and he told me that my color cartridge is busted and needs to be replaced. I bought
a new color cartridge and presto! My printer is working fine.

If u donot find the option 'cacell printing' while printing.
Go to printers and faxes in the control panel window if u have XP or trype 'printers' in 'run' if u have Vista.
look for Z600 printer icon which has a small green check mark next to it.
Right click on it and select the option 'cancell all documents'
If u still see one document left, unplug the USB cable from ur computer and restart it.
It will surely help u solve the problem.

I have this printer that is networked in a small office with 4 other computers. The person who installed this printer has left the left with all its documentations and the user guide. Someone has printed...

restart the Windows printing services, if they run Win2000 or newer. Go to Start > Run, type CMD, hit Enter, in the command dialog that opens, type NET STOP SPOOLER and hit Enter and it should tell you the service has stopped.
then type NET START SPOOLER and hit Enter and the service should start again.
Do this on all computers until printing stops. If printing doesn't stop, power off the printer and its server (unless it's connected to one of those pcs in which case you already restarted that service).
