Not sure why you posted this on Fixya. This would have nothing to do with who are where you bought it. you need to contact whomever you bought it from!

I have been using a free trial product key which has exprired after the 60 day trial, and i now want a new product key and i need different price range for me to purchace one for my PC.

Since the trial version expired, you either have to accept the price they offer to upgrade and activate it OR buy the software package new as complete which is usually higher price. I don't understand why you would have to do this for an operating system as I have never heard of an operating system offered as a trial. If this is a product like Microsoft Word, then consider using "Open Office" which is a compatible free package. If it is one of the antivirus packages, forget it and remove it and find one of the free ones. If a trial version nags you to upgrade, just remove it from your computer..

Dear Sir or Madam, I hope that when you receive this e-mail all is well. I cannot download the free, 3 day trial to my gmail account. I would like to try before buying it, please can you...

Have you checked the spam folder? If it's still not there, make a second email account on a different service such as Live Hotmail. A second email account is also usefull if you ever lose your old account.

Product key

If you purchased the software at a "retail" location, the 25-character product-key was included with the packaging.

If you made an online purchase, the product-key was E-mailed to you -- check it, and check your 'JunkMail' folder.

If your computer came pre-installed with a "trial" version of the software, and the trial-period has ended (30 days? 60 days?) then you can purchase a license-key at any "big-box" (Best Buy, Walmart) store -- it's printed on a plastic card, the size of a credit-card, to allow you to install
the software onto 1 computer. Costs about $99.

Or, uninstall the software, and download FREE "office-productivity" software from: http://www.OpenOffice.Org to do word-processing, spread-sheets, and presentations.
FREE.

I need my product key to start MS Publisher

The 25-character product key is found either:
* on the packaging if you purchased the software at a retail store,
* in your E-mail, if you made an online purchase.

If you recently bought a new computer, it could have had a "trial" version of MS Publisher installed. After the end of the trial-period, usually 30 to 60 days, you must either stop using the software, or follow the on-screen instructions to make an online purchase of a license-key.

Outlook will not activate

It is because MS outlook is not a part of the ms office home and student 2007 package. That's the reason why your outlook is saying trial and its not working.

My 30 day trial of MS Office hasn't yet expired

Hi Paul

The provision of Product-Keys is the sole responsibility of Microsoft. We get many requests from frustrated users of their 'Trial Packages'.
They want you to buy the package now. I like to give other options.

As an alternative, might I suggest Open Office from Sun Micro.
  • It is a full office productivity suite.
  • You can open and modify any file type MS-Office can
  • IT"S Free
  • You can download the package from their site right now!
Either way you choose, best of luck to you.

How do I go about buying a Product Key for Microsoft office home and Student 2007? I bought a new laptop and they never gave me a product code

If you have a trial version of MS Office Home and Student Edition already installed in your computer, you must buy a retail package of that same programe (MS Office Home and Student Edition) and language of the trial installed.
Then you can use the product key of the package you bought to convert your trial into a full version.
To convert MS Office Home and Studente Edition, you don't just buy a key, you must buy the full package with the CD you can use for future installations.
