Lexar 16GB S73 appears as Innostor NAND Flash USB Device

Despite being used before, the flash drive had to have it's driver installed last time I plugged it in which resulted in it appearing as Innostor NAND. I can no longer access the files on it and have had no luck with changing the drivers back to Lexar due to the S73 driver not being present on the Lexar site or anywhere else I have looked. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

USB flash devices don't need drivers. I believe you might have removed one or both of these drives from the PC without using the proper procedure, and the PC (or notebook) is now "confused". Re-attach one or both devices, but this time, either use (Windows) Explorer to "electronicaly" eject the device (right click, then choose eject) or use "Safely Remove Device" shortcut, usually on the bottom right=hand corner of your screen (the taskbar).

SOURCE: lexar flash drive

First, download and try to extract all the files from your drive with this tool:

http://www.lexar.com/drivers/files/ImageRescue_2.0-u(b16).zip

Second, at the moment that you are sure that you have all your files backed up, if windows recognizes the drive, try to right click on it and format

SOURCE: How can i recover my files from my usb flash drive?

It's possible that you are still suffering from the effects of the virus. You can try to download a (free) program called "Restoration" and run it. Here's the link:
http://www.download.com/Restoration/3000-2094_4-10322950.html

If you manage to recover your files, I would recommend that you re-format the flashdrive to make sure that you are getting rid of the virus, then re-install your flashdrive software if you use it.

Cannot format s73 jumpdrive

If using a PC, considering you have the USB driver installed (perform windows update first and install any suggested/required updates), plug in the flash drive, open the windows explorer, locate the flash drive, right mouse click on the name of the drive, a window should appear and select format with a left button click to execute.

Can't download a 10 gb movie into 32gb lexar s73 jumpdrive. it says it's full

You must be formatted to fat32, reformat the disk to ntfs (this should fix your problem). You are not allowed to back up 4GB or more of data to a FAT32 File System.
