Machine grinds and grinds but never brews

My machine will grind and grind away, but never gets to the brewing. After about 20-30 seconds of grinding the machine simply stops. When pressing the brew button again, the grinding begins again, continues for about 20-30 seconds and then stops. It never gets to the brewing. Now, when I turn the machine off for about 10 minutes and then turn back on again, when pressing the brew button, the machine skips the grinding cycle and immediately goes to brewing. Then, if I press the brew button again, it once again immediately goes to brewing and skips the grinding cycle. It seems to repeat this about the same number of times I had previously pressed the brew button and only experienced grinding. For example, if I had previously pressed the brew button 7 times and only experienced the machine brewing, then when I turn the machine off and then on again, it will skip the grinding and only brew 7 times, before beginning to grind again. Thoughts?

SOURCE: Coffee not brewing after grinding

After grinding did you hear the brew group goes up and pump start? If you hear the pump start and stopped, itis blockage in the brewunit metal screen. Just needs cleaning.
If you don't hear the pump starting, the problem is with the faulty micro switch inside the gearbox , that is behind the plate of brewunit.(service center job)

Saeco Royal Cappuccino Brew unit dumping grinds into machine

It sounds like the brew unit might need to be serviced or replaced. The funnel not lining up properly could indicate a problem with the alignment mechanism or the gears that control the movement of the brew unit. You can try cleaning the inside of the brew unit, checking for any obstructions or damaged parts, and reassembling it carefully to ensure everything is properly aligned. If that doesn't work, it's best to contact a professional for assistance. Saeco authorized service centers or repair shops should be able to diagnose and fix the issue.

Is there a way to increase/decrease the pressure of the brew unit tamper?

Hi
Yes in a way. There is a lever on the right side above the center of the door. It has a + and -, on it and the + will increase how much coffee is put into the brew unit and - will decrease the amount. + is for stronger coffee and - is for weaker coffee. The grind will also affect the compactness of the brew unit but you can get too much pressure if you get it too fine and this can also clog the passages of the grinder if made too fine. If you ever get the machine to say that "you are out of beans" and there are beans in the bean hopper, your grind is too fine. If the flow from the brew unit slows down your grind is too fine. If it dumps the grinds or makes a clicking noise you have too much coffee going into the brew unit. Pull the lever back 1 click from the +.

The Saeco Incanto machine grinds away but no water or coffee

Are there any grounds in discharge tray and if yes are they wet or dry?
If they are dry then the machine has a water circuit problem. If they are wet then the brew unit is blocked or the grind settings need to be adjusted coarser.

Where is the grind switch on the cuisiart grin & brew

Once you turn the machine on, it should automatically start to grind, unless you press the Grind Off button to make it stop.

Cuisinart grind and brew

This happens when the machine needs cleaned. Fill coffee maker with white vineger instead of water. Turn grind off, make sure empty pot is in place. Brew a pot of hot vineger. Repeat. Brew a pot of hot water. Repeat. This process removes mineral buildups inside machine. If you have access to filtered water, start using that to brew your coffee. I do and probably do this process 1 per 6 weeks.
