There are two things to try for this issue. The first is to reboot the tablet with the power switch. The other is to press in the reset button on the backside of the tablet. If these do not resolve it, then you'll want to contact the OSI call center.

Resetting is unlikely to resolve a power issue if it truly can't turn on... if that is the case, you could talk to an OSI call center. If it just gets stuck on the startup screen, you can try the reset on the back or rebooting... neither of which will erase anything. A factory reset would remove content, but if you can't get it to boot up, you can't get to the Settings menu to run a factory reset. If you did run one, all content is recoverable in the Meep Store
First suggestions would be to check that your firmware is current (latest version is 2.1.3) and to install an AppKiller program. If your Meep is full, you might want to consider a factory reset (done through the Settings menu) to clear out any file corruptions. Other than that, this is a matter for the OSI call center.
Here is the remedy for that error:
We've heard a few reports of Wifi connectivity issues recently, among them 'Authentication error'. If you receive this message, our recommended remedy is to remove all Wifi connection information from your Meep, turn off your Meep, reboot your router, then turn on your Meep and re-add the Wifi information. Follow these steps exactly in this order to resolve this error message:
1. Remove all Wifi network information from the Meep's settings
2. Reboot your router
3. Re-add the Wifi network information to the Meep's settings
4. Reboot the Meep.
