Hi.

If there is power then the door switch is probably broken. first make sure that there is power to the machine. The door switch is tested with power off, accessing switch contacts and reading Ohms with a multimeter. When door is closed the switch must have continuity, reading zero or few Ohms. With door open the switch contacts read infinity (circuit open).

If the door switch is OK, test power cord, main switch, wiring harness, motor and timer.

there maybe some short circuit in your dryer, try operation the back and see if there is blown wire or if you can, try to remove the panel most cases theres a short circuit underneath

Purchased one of these tumble dryers on 20th Oct 2011 from Currys, yesterday morning no power whatsoever.
Have refused repair or replacement after seeing your similar problems and also after finding this review that indicates that these tumble dryers dont like the cold.
As many people like us have them in the garage, I'm not interested in one that needs it's own radiator and blanket !!!! grrrr ..

Hi.
Try it with the heater disconnected, you will find it at the rear of the m/c at the bottom left behind a removable panel.
You may have to remove the top cover and the right hand side panel looking at the m/c from the front. Try it again.
I fit does not trip. then your heater is faulty.
If it still trips then you are probably going to have to call en engineer

This could be a worn out or loose belt. You can get to it through an access panel on the back of the machine. Just make sure the power is disconnected first! Hopefully a replacement belt will be easy to obtain in your area. Regards
