Have no volume on only one channel on Panasonic TH-42PX60U

We have a TH-42PX60U and we receive tv over the air. All the channels work great with volume. But one digital channel does not have volume. Neither the TV's speakers or a AV reciever can play volume from that one channel.

The antennae signal is split and the digital converter box feeding our Tivo recieves the channel and has volume.

any ideas?

I have a TH-42PX60U plasma tv and a few days ago the sound went out on channel 13-1. The sound is fine on all other channels, and video inputs. I have verified that the sound is ok from the tv station and I have also re-scanned the channels (several times) to see if this may fix the problem.

    Any suggestions?

Try the SAP - same thing happened to me and had to cycle through the audio tracks to get audio back on for that one channel. Good Luck!!!

Panasonic remote and volume/channel buttons do not work

My son put a penny in the SD card slot of my Pansonic flat screen tv. I finally got the penny out but now the volume and tv controls do not work. I can change the channels through my cable box but that is it. The volume does not work on my cable remote or the flatscreen. What do you suggest I do to fix this problem?? Thanks, Josh

PANASONIC TH-42PD60U

I had a similar problem where my TH-42PX60 would turn on but all controls were disabled. I could not change channel, input, volume or anything other than turning the TV on and off. I called customer support and they directed me to this site: http://www.pasctraining.panasonic.com/specialapplications/productfirmwaredownloads/downloads1.asp to download a firmware update onto an SD Card. I inserted the SD card into the slot in my TV and powered it on. The update took about 3 minutes and I haven't had a problem since.
This is a link to the instructions to install the update:
