Vhs is stuck in machine. Won't play and won't eject.

There are any number of reasons why it won't play. The loading basket is jammed, the video tape has got tangled up in the mechanical section of the vcr or the loading gears are stripped. Unplug machine and remove top, [screws side and back] if the tape is spewed carefully remove by cutting it and clean tape particles, for any other problem have a technician check it out.

Dvd won't eject

Someone is going to have to open the unit to see if something is jammed in the mechanism---a disc or something out of position.

Sometimes a gentle nudge will restore operation.

Dvd will not eject

You would have to open the unit to see if something is jammed in the mechanism--failing that and considering the low costs- just buy another--I see them for sale for as little as 20 dollars new now.

CD DOOR WON'T OPEN

Just below the CD/DVD tray there is a tiny hole. Insert a straighten paper clip in this hole and gently push the paper clip until the CD/DVD tray pops out. You can now pull the tray out until it is in the fully opened position to remove the disc.
Try pushing the eject button to see if the tray closes, then push the eject button to see if the tray opens.
If this foes not work then the CD/DVD drive is faulty and it needs to be replaced.

Dvd door won't open for Sanyo DVW 6000

If you are trying to eject a disc, look closely at the front bezel of the drive, there is a small hole near the eject button, push a paper clip into the hole (straightened paperclip) and the tray will be ejected.

If the DVD door is stuck and will not open through ejecting via the icon in My computer, or the eject button on the bezel will not work, you likely have a faulty drive that will need to be replaced

I have a 2007 Honda Odyssey with the built-in DVD player. Now there's a DVD stuck in it, it won't play and it won't eject. Help!

if you look closely enough there is a small hole on almost any sound system if you do have one put a paper clip in there and wiggle it around a little bit youll hear a click and the system should eject the cd if not then the cd has jammed in there and shattered which means you will have to pay a profecional to take out the dvd and get the disc out. hope this helps and if not well i apologise

Got new computer from Costco Hp DVD drive is staying open and does not close

I had a similar problem myself just recently with a new PC. Whilst the PC is running, try gently pushing the tray door closed and then reboot the PC. If it reopens when booting up, check first that the outer flap door is not jammed against the eject button in any way. If you're satisfied that the button is clear from any interference from the outer flap and the DVD drive has ejected again then take the PC back as the drive is most likely faulty.

When I press the bottin on the dvd burner to open the door, the green light comes on and i would hear the door try to open but no open.

yes frn this is happen due to the jam in the DVD rom. when you press the eject button put one pin in the hole that is just below the eject button. so that you can eject your DVD. or just hit the cd ROM slowly.

Dvd player not working

the disc may be jammed. try using a paper clip straightened a bit and insert into the little hole in the front of the dvd door. that should release the dvd drawer. if the drawer can not be pulled out because of a disc jam, you can try to close the drawer again and gently shake the dvd player side to side, front to back to jostle the disc back into the tray/drawer. then try the eject button again. failing that, you can try to remove the outer case and that ought to give you access to the disc, and allow you to see where it is relative to the tray.
try that and let me know how you are progressing with this problem
good luck
