There is no such thing as a factory reset with Nikon cameras. The greatest reset (restore costume settings) you can get is in the Custom settings menu.
The first line in that menu is Reset custom settings. If you use that, it will reset more settings, that with the green button restore. It won't involve or switch back switches you have put from AF to M, on the camera body or on the lens.
If your camera does not show and ERR on the Control panel, it is not likely your lans has any problem.
Refer to the manual, to see how you should put all the switches on the camera if you are not sure you did something wrong.

There is nothing called a reset button for Hi-Focus DVR or any DVR for that matter, if you are trying to bring it to factory condition then you would have to format the hard drive and select the option 'restore to factory settings' Gomax TV

Zoom stuck and will not focus

Check to make sure you have not inadvertently set the camera into manual focus mode. Many cameras have 2 modes: auto focus and manual focus.

Samsung hcn5527w convergance factory reset

Sorry, I just saw this post.
I hope this helps.

Yes there is one more step. You should call the technician out and have them set up the Magic Focus adjustments. I have serviced these televisions for years and I have made this mistake and had to return to fix it. You should not have to pay for a rework. The technician should have done the complete job the first time.

I hope this helps
and good luck.

Digital SLR will not focus

check the contacts on the lens... since it is copper and would develop copper rust... clean with iso alcohol and let air dry for an hour... clean the contacts on the camera too.

reset the camera back to factory defaults by mode dial to p, press menu, and custom reset back to factory defaults

also certain camera settings such as focus points and iso will help in low light

Focus

Use the Setup menu to select English or Spanish as
the language for the menus and on-screen displays.
Adjust Color Balance Automatically or manually
(PerfectColor TM) using six colors, Magenta, Red, Yellow,
Green, Cyan and Blue. Reset the Color Balance to the
factory default settings. Align the focus (convergence)
of the TV's projected light beams or reset the focus to
the factory default settings.

"check factor data" using self focus

Hi.

Not at all familiar with your tv but this sort of message comes up if you have altered eeprom settings while in engineers mode.
To put it right you will need the work shop manual to know how to reset the settings.

Maybe A tech on these forums can help you out.
