SOURCE: trying to install videocam suite 1.0 on xp home edition

Try right clicking on the installation .exe and clicking Properties. There might be a tab that says Compatibility. Click that and choose XP or XP/SP2 from the list and press apply.
try running the install now..

Hope this helps

SOURCE: The VideoCam Suite 2.0 supplied with my Panasonic

Successfully got the VideoCam Suite running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Step by step instructions follow.

Insert the program CDROM.
Don't use autorun - Cancel autorun popup.
Right click on CDROM drive in "My Computer" and select 'Open'.
Right click on Setup application & choose 'Troubleshoot Compatibility'.
Select 'Troubleshoot program'.
Select "The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now' & click the "Next" button.
Select 'Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)' & click the "Next" button.
Click on "Start the program..." button.
Installation will start.
VideoCam Suite will probably be flashing on the taskbar so select it.
The window will show: 'This application does not support this 64-bit operating system. Are you sure you want to install?'
!!! Click the "Yes" button !!!
Proceed with program installation.
When installation finished cancel out of the 'Program Compatibility' window.
Panasonic VideoCam Suite 2.0 works just fine on my laptop.

Trying to install microsoft word 2000 from dvd, have product key

Hi Bob,

If your works suite came bundled with word 2000, you probably have works suite 5.0 or 6.0. However, word 2000 is not compatible anymore with Windows 8.

Below is the link to Microsoft's compatibility center which shows that word 2000 is not compatible with your current operating system.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/ProductDetailsViewer?Type=Software&Name=Microsoft+Word+2000&ModelOrVersion=9&Vendor=Microsoft&Locale=1033%2C2057%2C3081%2C4105%2C16393&LastSearchTerm=microsoft%2Bword%2B2000&BreadcrumbPath=microsoft+word+2000&TempOsid=Windows+8

You can either purchase a new Office suite or use your other pc with the older operating system.

Let me know if you have further questions. :)

Window 7 compatibilty

Hi, the VideoCam Suite 1.0 is not compatible with Windows 7, but that doesn't mean you can't transfer files to a Windows 7 computer. You'll just have to use another program to edit the videos if you want to edit them.
