Take it back to the generous person who gave it to you and ask her to try hard to remember the password or to unlock it for you so that you can change the pattern. Or contact the manufacturer's service center.

If you forgot the passcode to unlock your Prestige Elite 8QI tablet, you can try the following methods:
Use Google account: If your tablet is linked to a Google account, you can try to unlock it using the associated Google account credentials. On the lock screen, tap "Forgot Pattern" or "Forgot Password" and follow the instructions to enter your Google account username and password.
Factory reset: If the above method doesn't work, you can perform a factory reset on your tablet to remove the passcode. Please note that this will erase all data on your tablet, so make sure to back up your files before proceeding.
To factory reset your Prestige Elite 8QI tablet, follow these steps:
Power off your tablet.
Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button at the same time until the logo screen appears.
Release the Power button but continue holding the Volume Up button until the Android System Recovery menu appears.
Use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to select it.
Use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Yes -- delete all user data" and press the Power button to confirm.
Once the reset process is complete, use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Reboot system now" and press the Power button to restart your tablet.
Your Prestige Elite 8QI tablet should now be unlocked and ready to use.

Try this: Turn tablet off. Hold down volume up button and press power on button - continuing to hold both buttons down until the screen says something like "booting in recovery mode" (then touch the android robot image) or gives you options to do a factory reset. Do a factory reset and then reboot tablet normally. Be aware that a factory reset will wipe all user data from the tablet. Next time I would write down your selected password and put the paper in your wallet or purse.....
Not possible to recover your password just factory reset back to when new! Press power for 30 seconds then press power and volume+ buttons together until reset screen comes on then move to factory reset option using volume buttons and select using power button!

If you have set the screen lock to a password or pin code, and have forgotten the code; you will need to reset you tablet to factory default setting.
Make sure your tablet has a full charge
Press and hold the Volume - button and tap the Reset button
(The reset button is located between the HDMI and USB ports)
Continue holding the Volume - button until the boot screen appears
Release the Volume - button
Use the volume controls to navigate to "Wipe data/Factory reset"
Press the power button to select
Navigate to "Delete all user date"
Press the power button to select
Your table will take several minutes to reboot to a factory default setting.
