Expressit I have expressit 2.1 I made a couple of dvd case inserts just fine. Now when I push 'print' my printer(hp c8180) just sends out a blank page. I tried to uninstall expessit and reinstalled it and I still can not get anything printed.

Memorex site has a free downloadable upgraded version. But it's doesn't use the same file extensions, so I can't use may older designs.

You might be printing in a different mode...you can see it in the printing preferences tab(fastdraft, fastnormal, normal and best quality )... or are you directly connected to the printer? or in a LAN? try using a different usb port...

Hi! In your case try to change the printer port in the printer settings. I think the only problem you have is the communication between the printer & your computer. pls check. GOOD LUCK

Try reinstalling all of the printer software. If that does not do it then something is wrong with the printhead itself, specifically the area that controls the flow and metering of the black ink.

This is most common error in inkjet HP inkjet printers.But you are not mentioned model number, any how try this:
Step 1.
> Remove all the supplies like print heads & cartridges..
> Remove USB or any other device connectivity from system.
> Switch off the printer.
> Wait couple of minutes.
> Switch on the printer, wait till printer asked for the supplies.
> Insert supplies as per specified messages.
> Check for ready mode, insert data cable & give print command.
>>>Check.. no message.. END.
Step 2:
> If problem remain same..(I will suggest for tech guys)
> switch off the machine, remove all the supplies
> Open printer side covers.
> find out the CMOS batter mounted on formatter ,remove it..
> wait couple of minutes..
> with out CMOS batter do the above said step 1 process.
> check.. I hope it will resolve this issue..give print command.. verify..once its resolved CMOS batter has to be installed.
> Switch off the machine,
> insert CMOS battery,
> do again step1 process,,..
......END....

When scanning or copying on our HP C8180 Photosmart printer, the output is a totally black page. This is a recent occurance. What could be the problem?
It printing from the Computer is fine. then there is a problem with the Scanner (Laser unit) need to clean.

I've reloaded drivers, it prints out test page fine. When sending others like web pages etc it sends blank pages through with some charachters on them
Certain web pages require a Postscript driver, not a PCL driver. HP printers usually can do both. You can check this by going into properties for the printer (right-click), go under advanced, and check the driver file. Go to the HP website and make sure that if it gives a choice, that you got the right one. Also make sure you are not using a 64-bit driver on a 32-bit system. This can give you limited or no functionality. Their are also some pages that just don't print from the Internet, that is why the pages often have print friendly links. Make sure this is not the case by printing something you know should print, like a Word document or a picture.

Hp5510--will fax, bukt when it prints, the sheet is blank.
First print a standalone test page.
Push Setup >> Print reports >> Self Test report.
If the page prints fine. Reinstall the software. It will work !!
