This is the link for the drivers for your laptop, Cut and paste it into the address bar in your internet browser and it will bring you right to the download page. It will also have the manufacturers contact info so you can get in touch with them directly for free and get the driver for your card reader. If it is not showing up it is not installed(driver). I do not see it in the list of drivers but customer service will be able to send you the link for the driver you need. Once you install the driver you will be able to use your reader.
Also, The reader may not be capable of reading High capacity Cards. Any card over 2Gb is considered High capacity. This is the problem if you are trying to read HC cards in a standard capacity reader. The manufacturer will tell you whether or not it is a High capacity reader or not. If this turns out to be the problem you will just have to use an external USB HC card reader to read cards greater then 2 Gb. Hope you found this info helpful. And save the website in your favorite folder incase you ever need to download and install the other driver for your notebook.
Thanks
George

Check the Device Manager for any ! or ? (missing driver) and ensure the contacts of the adapter are clean.
