DONT KNOW HOW TO RUN 2 OHMS

need to know the ohms on the amplifiers then might can tell you best solution for system

The KAC-624 is a 40 watt x2 @ 4 ohm RMS amp. 55 watt x2 @ 2ohm. 110 watt x 1 Bridged I assume at 4 ohm. Manual does not specify. It can run 2 ohm in stereo mode but is unclear on mono impedance requirement. It can run 4 ohm mono at 110 watt but at 2 ohm?

+ on amp output to + on speaker #1 to + on speaker #2. - on amp output to - on speaker #1 to - on speaker #2. This is a parallel circuit....4 ohms in parallel with 4 ohms = 2 ohms. IF it were wired in series....would represent 8 ohm load.

It can but it'd be a waste for your subs. 1 of those by itself will handle that amp. it'll push them just not really hard, i'd recommend an upgrade to a 1100-1200 watt rms amp if you're gonna run 2 cvx's. if you only run one sub that amp'll work well...

For a 1ohm load it's positive to positive and negative to negative run 1 wire from one speaker to the other. Positive to positive neg to neg. Then 1 wire from the speakers to the amp. The amp will have + - + - on it's inputs for left and right speakers (if stereo) Use the outside positive and outside negative. If there are any switches on the amp that say "mono" "stereo" switch to "mono". Hope this helps

The 2 ohm stable rating on the amp is PER channel meaning that you could effectively hook up a 2 ohm speaker or a 2 ohm load to each channel without the amp getting f"d up-butin bridged mode it will only be 4 ohm stable. to achieve a 4 ohm load with your sub the type x wire the coils in series that will get you at 4 ohms to run in bridged mono .But you will get the exact same amount of power if you wire each coil to one channel of the amp as bridged mono sees the sum of your 2 ohm channels combined-Hope that helps.

personally i wouldnt use a sony amp for powering anything but,however if your going run it what i would recommend is if the speakers are at 4 ohms then run in series per speaker then put the speakers in series as well so you will keep your 4 ohms then run the amp in mono,however just to let you know that amp will not push fubars enough to really make them thump my advice is to goto http://www.sonicelectronix.com  if you have 200 dollars you can get a nice  Hifonics TXi 1508D that will push those monsters quite well thats 1 ohm stable and will barley get warm even after hours of thumpage,also if your running subs monoblocks are the way to go hope this helps you out.

Well, you have the 4 ohm dvc kickers, and your amp being stable to 2 ohms doesn't go together very well. If you wire the voice coils in series, and hook the speakers to the amp in parallel, you get 4 ohms, which doesn't use all the power your amp is capable of. If you run the voice coils and the speakers in parallel, you'll drop the resistance to 1 ohm, and probably fry the amp, or at least deal with overheating issues. Better be safe than sorry. You need to run each speaker in series, which means running a positive and negative to each speaker, and a jumper from those terminals to the opposite colored terminals on the second voice coil. Diagram can be seen here: http://www.kicker.com/06/tech-support/manuals/manuals/02SoloBaricL7manual.pdf That puts two 4ohm voice coils in series, and raises the resistance of each speaker to 8 ohms. Then, you have to run both speakers in parallel to the amp. When you run two 8 ohm circuits in parallel, the total resistance of the circuit is 4 ohms. That means seperate positive and negative wires to each speaker. If it is a mono amp, connect both negatives to the negative output, both positives to the positive output. If it is a multi-channel bridgeable amp, You'll probably connect the negatives to one side output (right for example) then connect the positives to the opposite side output (left for example). If you need to bridge your amp, make sure it is bridgeable, and also that you have the speakers bridged to the proper amp outputs.
