No sound

reinstall the driver ..usually if it is a fault the driver is to blame e..If you downgraded from vista ..try to install the Uaa architect driver first before installing the driver ..in case it is present on the support site ..
to find the support site (in case you do not have the disk with drivers)..just Google for the manufacturer's name aside with the word support and if there is any ..it will appear in searches..
On the site just select the model and the operation system under the downloads and drivers ..
If there is no driver issue ..than check not to be muted...check the volume advanced settings under the sound in the control panel ..and be sure the wave volume is up to ..
If nothing will work ..than you need another sound card cause it is corrupted..

    Canecting US122 with Sonar HS4

    Hey there,

Try the latest US-122 driver (3.4.0), you can get it here:

    http://www.pcmusic.org/software/version.php/lang/en/id/10422/

There might be a latency problem with the Asio4all driver too, try the US-122 16bit or 24bit driver, they are actually Asio drivers.
Also navigate to Windows Control Panel and make sure that a Windows Media Player Update hasn't minimised the Wave Control Sound.

    Good Luck and have fun

Sound only works while testing and is usually low. DVDs or any sound from the internet do not work. This problem has been there for a long time and its really irritating me. Thank god i found this site....

I will assume you have windows xp, since you did not state with OS you are using. Is the sound turned up on the volume control? On the volume control make sure both the wave and master volume are correctly set.

If you do not know how to open the volume control, goto start, then click run, not type "sndvol32".

If this is not the case then you are having driver issues with your sound card. Make sure the sound drivers are installed and configured.

First check the volume control then check the drivers.
