Juki 8500 sewing machine upper thread tension dial popped out and doesnot stay in

Industrial Juki sewing machine 8500 is what I have and upper thread tension dial popped out and does not stay in. All the parts seems to be present but not sure. The spring inside is intact and tension dial parts are still attached to the dial.

SOURCE: the thread on my Juki machine keeps breaking when

there's a tension dial with numbers-0-9 --above the needle area- the smaller the number the looser the tension--the higher the number the tighter the tension

thread breaking-try this
try rethreading the machine
thread tension to tight
needle is bent or blunt
needle is inserted incorrectly
the thread is either too heavy or too fine for the needle

try this & see if it helps you
Cut 6-8 inch piece of thread of the spool you are going to use for your project
Take the needle you are going to use for the project
& insert the thread thru the eye of the needle
& lift one end of the thread to a 45 degree angle
& if the needle is the right size for the thread it will slide down the thread
But if the needle hangs on the thread you need one size larger needle for the thread

SOURCE: I need information on tension disk for Juki 1541-S Walking Food Industrial Sewing Machine

Get a magnifying glass and look carefully at the disc for a build up of wax and burrs. You may need to clean them up or use a piece of fine sand paper to remove burrs. Start there.... then if no improvement seek out your local industrial sewing machine repairman to get parts and further help.

Why does my machine break the thread a lot? A juki cp 130

Watch your thread while sewing slowly. You may be able to see where the problem originates. It may just be a matter of the thread popping out of a thread guide or looping around something it shouldn't.

Avoid old or bargain bin variety thread. Invest in fresh, good quality thread.

Try installing a brand new needle.

When threading the upper thread, ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot. Remove all the thread from the machine and rethread from the beginning. Confirm the thread path is correct and that the bobbin is loaded and threaded correctly. Set the tension to the midway point to start and then tweak it for your particular machine.

Juki industrial sewing machine. Machine will start sewing but after three stitches it stops.

You may need to adjust your tension dial with your fabric you are using and kind of thread, also adjust to thickness of fabric. Always use good sharp needles with your sewing and keep machine clean and oiled.

My juki 8700 h frays thread while trying to sew

Hello Daniel, I suggest you start with a new needle. Back off the needle thread tension and the bobbin thread tension to a minimum and see how it sews. If it does not ravel the thread, you can increase the tensions until you acquire the stitch you want.

JUKI MO 134 SERGER

How to Thread Juki MO-134 Serger from watching lady at Lyles. Turn upper blade up. Push in first then turn up.It makes threading easier. Blue Thread upper looper first. Pull thread through tension knob. Don'tjust lay it there. (She thought that is what I must have done) Orange Thread lower looper next. Pull thread through tension knob as inthreading upper looper. Adjust lower looper so it is right nextto upper looper so that their points are almost together and directly belowsewing needles. Lower looper will be in front of upper looper (I believe). With tread from upper looper pulledback, slightly lift lower looper above upper looper and thread. I think this isright. Pull thread back with other thread. Tension is the key. Remember that. Yellow: Thread left needle first.Remember tension. Pull thread through curled wire on left side of needle arm. Green: Thread right needle. Rememberabout tension. Pull thread through curled wire on right side of needle arm. b> Note: Before sewing turn the wheel tomake sure the stitches are going together correctly.

I bought a second hand Juki industrial machine , model DDL 5550-7, but struggle to get the tension of the stitches right. where do you set the lower stitches tension

upper tension sets the lower thread tension (upper thread is what you see on the underside of the fabric). Bobbin tension is for the thread you see on the top of the fabric

My thread is breaking when I'm sewing on my Juki DDL 555

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT NEEDLE FOR THE THREAD YOU ARE USING, AND THAT THE SAME THREAD IS ALSO IN THE BOBBIN. CHECK UPPER TENSION, BY PULLING SLIGHTLY, IF IT'S TIGHT, LOOSEN THE UPPER TENSION.YOUR THREAD MAY BE THE WRONG SIZE OR TYPE FOR THE SPEED YOUR SEWING., and the needle your are using( sorry about the caps lock)
