Look for a small hole in the unit that says reset. Insert paperclip, count off 35 seconds then let it go, this is a factory reboot, should clear the problem and restart, unless you have a software problem, in which case thats a different setup.
This depends on the operating system in use. to rebot, click on start on the bottom left hand coner of your monitor, click on turn off computer, click on restart or press r on keyboard. Sit back and watch the computer completely shut down and turn on again
Three finger salute aka hold down CTRL and ALT and then press the Delete key. That will either bring up task manager where you can select reboot or it will just reboot if you press it again (depends on os version)
Hold down the power button.
Depending on your model there may also be a reboot button that you can poke. It is usualy hidden on the bottom somewhere.
Try this, while booting up your computer, continue to tap F8. You SHOULD get a screen with a list of options. From there choose Start in Safe Mode. Uninstall your updates, and then reboot the computer. Hopefully this resolves your issue and you will be able to restart windows normally. Microsoft unfortunately is notorious for coming up with driver updates for components which get installed with autoupdate, several times this will cause a component to stop working correctly, and cause hang up.
to reboot u will need a os system installation cd e.g windows xp,vista now to restore the computer go to start menue then programmes/accesories/systems tolls and there u have it system recovery
TRY TAKING THE BATTERY AND PUTTING IT BACK IN THAT WILL REBOT THE PHONE. IF YOU DO A LOT OF TRANSFERING SONGS TAKE THE BATTERY OUT ABOUT ONCE A MONTH. ITS LIKE A COMPUTER YOU GOT TO REBOT IT EVERY NOW AND THEN
