Saeco Odea Go descaling

Hello. I performed the descaling process last summer and I need to do it again. The problem is I lost the manual and I also forgot how to do it. I searched the Internet but I don't remember to do the descaling like that. I remember the descaling solution flowing from the dispensing head and steam spout both. I really need help urgently. Best regardes, Nathanael.

Fill the tank with detergent and let the hot water run for about 15 seconds. Then turn off the machine for about 15 minutes. Then turn the machine back and let the hot water. Then rinse the water tank and fill it with clean water. Run hot water again to empty the tank. Fill clean water again and then you can put down coffee :)

SOURCE: Saeco Odea Go - Hot water leaks from bottom of machine

That's leaking from the hoses coming out from the boiler,if the machine is new it should be still under warranty, may have to take it back to the service center. When making coffee the lines are under pressure and the water never have a chance to pass through the ground coffee.

SOURCE: I Have descaled my Saeco Odea Go but still it doesnt brew coffee

That is serious, that means the grinder is jammed or not working. To check the components of the machine follow these instructions.
Press and hold the steam button and turn on the machine, when you see the lights going around in anticlockwise direction, release the button. Turn the coffee dial to the left and press the steam button, the grinder should turn. Dial on the right and pressing coffee ****. water pump runs. Press steam ****. brew group go up, dial 1/4 to left B/Group down.
If grinder not turning the motor is bad. Hope it will help to find out.

Saeco Odea. Go get ready to make coffee but when I press button to make coffee, ground grains and filter lights flashes alternatively?

Hello! When the ground grains and filter lights on your Saeco Odea coffee machine are flashing alternatively, it usually indicates an issue with the brewing unit or the coffee grounds. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
  1. Check the coffee grounds: Open the machine's front door and remove the brew group. Check the coffee grounds container to ensure it is not full or clogged. Clean out any excess coffee grounds and ensure that the container is properly inserted.
  2. Clean the brew group: Thoroughly clean the brew group and its components according to the manufacturer's instructions. Pay special attention to the coffee chute, coffee funnel, and the area where the brew group attaches to the machine. Ensure there are no coffee grounds or debris obstructing the mechanisms.
  3. Check the water reservoir: Ensure that the water reservoir is filled with enough water and properly inserted into the machine. Sometimes a low water level can trigger error signals.
  4. Restart the machine: After cleaning and checking all the necessary components, close the front door securely and turn the machine off and then on again. This may reset the error condition.
  5. Descale the machine: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to descale the machine. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for descaling your specific model of Saeco Odea.
If the problem persists after performing these steps, it may be necessary to contact Saeco customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance. They will be able to provide more specific guidance based on the model and the nature of the issue you're experiencing.

Hi, I've got a saeco odea giro plus. 3 weeks old, the descaling ight came on. I followed descaling steps in manual. rinsed off brew group and place it back in unit. now the system will prime, grind, I...

Hello,
Look at the brewing group where the top strainer is. The small holes are blocked with coffee. The water can not pass through them.
You will need to unfold the two screws at the top and then remove the strainer, grow and clean it and clean it if the holes are blocked.
Do this only

That is the descale light, you should run a descale through the machine. After you have done that hold on the water button and the descale light will go away

Red light is on (looks like an M) and I don't know why??

It means time to descale , however if you want to get rid of it, just press and hold the water button until it goes off.
To descale..fill the container with descaler and let water goes through the system by openning the valve and catch the descaler with a container. Turn off the machine a few minutes and start the process all over again for 1/2 hr, and finally with water to wash the system.(donot want to heat up the descaler too much)
