Use to work no problem, but recently when i attach the processor it doesn't work even with everything clicked into place and now not even the main mixer works. Seems to be no power, have checked fuse and that's fine
Hi on my new Kenwood Prospero+ model khc29h0wh (but applies to all) I had same problem: dough mixer and high speed mixer working, but "medium speed" food processor and Juicer not working.
After lots of time I realised... the lid of the Juicer/Processor actually locks in three different positions, but only one of these (with the handle corresponding to a mark) actually locks lowering a white plastic security prong that activates the switch. It is the position in which the lid and container prongs coincide.
There are interlock switches on that unit so that it wont come on with out the attachments. One of them is bad or loose
Testimonial: "Thanks, any suggestions on how i can check and/or fix this myself?"

I had the same problem. Had to strip the machine down to get to the motor. On the top is a moving plate with various capacitors etc mounted. On the front side there was a Capacitor (At least I think it was) with the wire broken.
I resoldered it and the machine now works fine.
I hope this helps

This kind of unit are lubricated with grase paste. If the unit stays
inactive for a long time, or if the motor and gears are overheating the
grease paste gets melted into thin oil, and that will cause the leak.
The oil leak is usually coming from the gear box inside the appliance.
To fix the problem the unit must be taken apart, and cleaned. After
this step, there is need to spread again the grease, using special
foodsafe grease paste.
Disassemblying the gear box is not that easy, you will need previous
experience and a gear puller to do the job properly and safely.
This appliances are also held with security screws to prevent the users
from taking apart the unit, and can only be disassembled using a Security screwdriver tip.
The grease can be purchased here, check at the bottom of the page: Kenwood chef food mixer Grease.
