This issue can occur for many reasons. The most common is an error during shutdown (ie holding down the power button to force power off). The easiest way to fix this is to run the windows repair disc you should have made when you bought your computer. If you do not have this you can order from the manufacturer for around $80. The only other option is to get a boxed retail copy of windows and install that. However if you choose the second you will lose all of your information stored on the computer. I advise you to take caution in attempting any repairs on your computer as any data not backed up may be destroyed. i am afraid you will need to restore your windows using your windows disc, is this vista by any chance.
The two main methods in which to take care of Status Oxcoooooof Repair Screen error message:
