My lg 37LC will show the button as green but will not show picture or sound

The on/off button is probably faulty! Replace the button.

Go to the manufacturer's web site; the support section, and download a free copy.

Bulb overheated and probably blew, they are made of mercury most times so don't touch them they should be in a housing, that could be it. If most times dust gets in there and the fan gets weighted down with dust if its up against the wall no air flow, so there ya go, try that. good luck

your main board has gone bad. Can be fixed, in my shop it would cost about $250. It is a real shame on the industry that these things last about 2 years or less. Hope you held on to your old crt style tv.

Power supply board have problems.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.
