Kenmore® (46-26072) Elite® 20.6-Cu. Ft. Frost-Free White Upright Freezer
I have a Kenmore upright frost free freezer. It is approx. 3 years old. It does not freeze anymore. it is getting power but the temperature inside is slowly getting warmer.
The freezer is completely defrosted now. There was a little puddle underneath in the back. I plugged it. It blows cold air but not enough to freeze anything. When you open the door, you can't see that cold could it use to blow. When you close the door, the temperature dislay shows that the temperature has gone up about 15 degrees and it takes a while to cool again even though i have nothing in it. the fan is also onThe freezer is completely defrosted now. Check these two things first. 1. Is there a thick frost buildup on the back panel at the bottom half of the freezer? 2. Do you hear the fan running inside the freezer? Let me know what you find.

It sounds like the unit is low on freon or the compressor is going bad. You have several other components that could be affecting this as well. Make sure the coils are free from dust and clean underneath. This is a bit premature for you to have problems now, especially since it is a Sears product.
