How to switch Samsung LA46M8 from analog to digital

Most Samsung tv's change from analog to digital (and vice versa) by entering the same channel number you're watching at the moment, again. If that doesn't help, check the manual for detailed information.

Check your menu on the Samsung to switch audio out selector. You might have to use ANALOG outputs instead.
you could then eliminate digital to analog adapter.
Analog out uses the RCA PLUGS.

Some tv's switch of when the signal is too weak (check your cables or arial reception)

Hi... Make sure u choose the TV speaker from the TV settings.

press Menu from your remote control. Settings... then go to TV settings. click TV speakers.
There u can also pick the wireless speakers.

Problem not in your monitor, but in your videocard, I've got the same. Your videocard overheats and your monitor shut down. You need to check cooler on your videocard. Maybe it full of dust. Sorry for my bad english) hope it helps to someone.

Did you check for new drivers to both vid card and display? That'd be the first thing to try.

DO YOU MEAN WONT SWITCH FROM ANALOG TO DIGITAL!!!

THE ONLY WAY THIS WILL CHANGE IS IF YOU HAVE A DIGITAL INPUT SOURCE CONNECTED to this mointor like HDMI AS THIS MOINTOR AUTOMATICALLY SENSES ANALOG SIGNALS AND DIGITAL INPUT SIGNALS if a digital signal is available it will switch over if a digital input singal is not available you will only be able to use the analog option
