I have a XBox360 to and she did the same thing a while ago, the disk plate must be blocked or the eject button must be shorting out, make sure that the sides of the slot are clean and that there are no debris at all, and if you have a chance too take a look inside the console make sure that all cables are connected to the driver properly.
