I would suggest buying a new ring because knots are again not safe for a long period of time. I had a small solitaire in my ring. But as I said knots are not for life long. Lost diamond from ring for the 3rd time
There's not a lot us fixya guys can do. Apart from tell you that you'll need to go and see a diamond cutter or a bespoke jeweler to cut you some glass replacements. Or you could do something completely illegal and throw it away and get an insurance claim! Which could get you up to (depends on the size of the fraud) Ten years in prison.

There is no easy way. Peel it off as best you can and use some adhesive remover and putty kife to complete the job. You must begin with a clean surface for the new install.

Cement sink drain repair
Yes you can still get those basket strainers and you can replumb with plastic pipe. Make sure when you go to the store to get the extra long strainers made for thick sinks, the fitting on the bottom should be made to accept plastic pipe. You may also need a "mission band" or "fernco coupling" to attach the plastic to metal pipe after replacing everything under the sink.
