Need some help!! I have a Maytag DWU9906BAB dishwasher and it stopped working (It's about 15 years old). Got power, lights on control panel working, but get no water flowing into machine. Checked water supply lines in/out and they seem fine and its built in so no movement
or connection changes occured. Ran the unit 2-3 days before and it seemed a bit louder than usual. Could this be a pump/motor issue. It sees light use about 2-3 loads a week. We have hard water though, which might be a kill for the pump. It has treated us well no problems in whole time that I have owned it. Wondering if there might be a easy fix, is there an auto check sequence prior to water flow that might not be allowing flow (checked handle it seems to be in good working order, get snap when closed, but it does have a bit of play) Any thoughts on what else to check or if pump/motor maybe have seen there last run. Thanks in advance for any help or thoughts you can provide. JEB
SOURCE: Fills with water, sounds like it starts to pump water then stops, then start again
you have a wash pump problem. can be 1 of 3 things. most likely something is caught in the pump impelor if not the wash pump motor may be faulty or ceized or it could be the capacitor for the wash pump motor is faulty. you can try removing the wash pump yourself and check the impelor if it spins freely then you will have a motor problem.
hope this helped
SOURCE: Maytag dishwasher, no power, then flashing lights, now no power.
Had the same problem, removed the kick panel to find a set of instructions under the insulation, had to push a sequence of the panel buttons, its been running great for a couple of weeks now!

SOURCE: power not coming on
When a dishwasher appears to be dead, many times the door latch is to blame. On some models, that latch has a safety interlock switch directly controls the power, so that when the door is opened during a wash cycle, power is removed.
The problem is that the interlock switch can fail or get un-aligned, so the dishwasher does not get power.
Depending on your skill level, you can investigate the problem, using a phillips screw driver to open up the latch so you can see the interlock.
Good Luck!

If there are no lights on the control panel then initially check if connections to the panel are fine.If they look fine then you definitely need a new control panel.
No need for a new touch panel. Its always that the control panel goes faulty, not the touch panel.
you can also check for competitive rates from local dealers and few sites like--repairclinic.com and applianceparts.com
thanks.

most likely you have a bad motor when replacing the motor ihave found it is cheaper to get the pump with the motor attached where as they charge you more money for just the motor or the pump seprately try allbrands appliance parts they seem to be cheaper
