    Mike,
I just saw your video. Good but doesn't show reassembly. Where to the washers and shield go?

Thanks! The spring (2) worked for me when the concave side was facing UP.

Also I had lost the plastic washers 4 and 8. A sheet reinforcement (the office supply type) over just the positive side of the first battery worked! One wasn't needed on the second battery.

Where and how do you change the battery or batteries on the Stanley 95-113 Mini Tripod Key chain LED Flashlight

Each leg can hold three AA batteries. Simply unscrew a leg cap (foot) and drop in the batteries positive end first. My came with batteries in one leg only, but all of the legs hold batteries, so one can use 3, 6, or 9 batteries.

I'm assuming its an infrared fob. had an led and you point at the vehicle. this led will need replacing they do go after a time, replacement will be 5mm 150mW IR LED these are a little better than the originals but they don't make the originals anymore. the legs on the originals have a tendance over time to snap or crack in turn stopping the signal.

Gateway NV5378u lap top, brand new battery installed and status says 100% charged. When I unplug the computer it shuts off as if there is no battery. Could the new battery be defective?

There are a few things to check. The LED lights can tell you a lot. This will tell you more about the battery:
  1. On the taskbar, double-click the power cord icon or battery icon to open the Power Meter dialog box. Note: If the power cord icon or battery icon does not appear on the taskbar, click the show hidden icons button.
  2. Press Fn+STATUS to view the power status box, which opens in the upper-left corner of the screen. The power status box shows the current power source, the battery charge level, and the power management mode.
  3. Look at the battery charge indicator (if applicable).
    • LED green - Battery is fully charged.
    • LED orange - Battery is charging.
    • LED blinking red - Battery charge is very low.
    • LED solid red - Battery is malfunctioning. Note: This LED only lights up when the notebook is connected to AC power.
  4. Press the battery meter button on the battery. The battery meter lights indicate the percentage of battery charge remaining.
  5. Wait for a Low Battery warning message to appear.
If your battery charge indicator displays what looks like an inaccurate charge, you may need to recalibrate the battery.

To recalibrate the battery as mentioned, try this:
  1. Connect the AC adapter and then turn on the notebook.
  2. As soon as it starts and you see a startup screen, press the F2 key.
  3. In the BIOS Setup utility, use the TAB key to select the Advanced menu.
  4. On the Advanced menu, select Battery Auto Learning, and then press the SPACEBAR to select Enabled.
  5. Use the RIGHT ARROW key to select the Exit menu. On the Exit menu select Exit Saving Changes, and then press ENTER.
  6. At the Setup Confirmation prompt, select Yes, and then press ENTER.
  7. The battery recalibration process begins and a screen opens showing you the progress.
  8. When the recalibration has finished, and the message "Press [Esc] key to exit" appears, press Esc. The battery charge indicator now displays an accurate battery charge.

Hope this helps!!

I HAVE A HARLEY SPORSTER 1200, WILL NOT SHIFT OUT OG GEAR, STAYS IN HIGH GEAR....HELP PLEASE..............

Sounds like the shifter pawl is broken. This is common in Sportsters. You'll have to pull your primary drive to repair it.

Disconnect your battery, drain the primary, loosen the primary chain adjuster and remove the outer primary cover. Take the engine sprocket nut loose. Remove the snap ring in the clutch assemble and remove the throwout bearing. Remove the mainshaft nut that holds the clutch assembly on. This nut has LEFT HANDED threads. Lift the engine sprocket, primary chain, and the clutch assembly out of the primary case.

Now, you can get to the shifting mechanism and determine what the problem is.

Good luck
