CHANGE THE TIME/DATE AND TURN THE RINGER ON

Probably the handset is in Silent Mode. Press and hold the # key (below 9) to toggle the silent mode off. When you turn on the feature by holding the # key, you can enter a number (1-9) to end the silent feature in that many hours. However, if you do not type a number, the silent mode will remain on until disabled.

Without the model number of your Uniden phone, I don't know which silencing feature you are dealing with.

Some Uniden handsets have a Silent Mode. To toggle this on and off, press and hold the # key (below 9) for 5+ seconds when the phone isn't in use. When the silent mode is enabled, the handset will ask for a length of time for the 'no-ring' option. If no key is pressed, then the Silent Mode will continue until the # key is held again.

Other Uniden phones have Do Not Disturb. The button to enable/disable this will be on the cordless phone base. The answering system will automatically turn on and none of the handsets will ring when this feature is enabled.

You can also set the ringer volume to zero. Depending on the phone, you can reset this by pressing the volume up/down buttons or going through the menu. Look for the Ringer Volume in the same section of the menu as the Ring Tone options.

It depends on the model and why the ringer is off. All of these solutions require the phone to be in standby mode. If your phone has the Uniden Do Not Disturb feature enabled, you need to press the DND button on the base. If your Uniden phone has a Silent Mode, press and hold the # key (below 9) on one of the handsets. You'll need to hold the key for ~5 seconds. These options will toggle on the feature when it is off.

If the ringer is merely muted, press the volume up key.

The time and date is a system feature rather than an individual telephone feature. To change the date in the Legend Magix system, from the System Programming console: 1.- Press Menu 2.- Press System Program. 3.- Press Exit or Start. 4.- Press System. 5.- Press Date. 6.- Enter date in following format: mmddyy (where MM is the month, DD is the day, and YY is the year). 7.- Press Enter. 8.- Press Exit or Back. 9.- Press Home or Exit to exit programming mode. To change the time in the Legend Magix system, from the System Programming console: 1.- Press Menu. 2.- Press System Program. 3.- Press Exit or Start 4.- Press System. 5.- Press Time. 6.- Enter the time in military/24 hour format: HH:MM (where HH is the hour, 01-24, and MM is minutes, 00-60). 7.- Press Enter. 8.- Press Exit or Back. 9.- Press Home or Exit to exit programming mode

Feature 9# has to be done fromt he Admin phone. Somewhere on the system there is a phone that is the Admin phone.

have you tried feature, 9, # and after you enter the time hit hold to get to the date.

• Press Feature, 9 and #
• Use dial pad to enter hours and minutes
• Press Recall to change Am / Pm
• Press Hold to change Date
• Press Recall to change Day of the week
• Press # to move cursor to Date
• Enter Date
• Press Recall to change Month
• Press # to move to Year
• Press Feature button to save

You may need to change your Ring Volume. Here are some instructions on how to do so.

To Change your Ring Type:
1. Press the Feature button, then * 6
2. Press the number keys 1 – 4 to hear the different ring types
3. Press the OK softkey when you hear your desired ring
To Change the Ring Volume:
1. Press the Feature button, then * 80
2. Press the volume key up or down
3. Press the release key1 to exit and save the volume level

Press the "Speaker" button and enter 728 on the key pad. Then enter the correct time in 24 hour format. For example at 2.56 p.m. type 1456. Then press speaker again and you're done
