I'm convinced you already did read the user manual. There are three things you can reset:
1. User settings. In menu mode P, you can undo all the settings you made. Page 69.
2. Reset all settings. Page 151 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset all. All settings will be restored to factory settings.
3. Reset file numbering. Page 154 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset file numbering.
In the same menu is also the view firmware version. Yours should read Coolpix P90 Ver.X.X .
The latest update of firmware for the P90 is 1.1 Great chance your camera came with that revision already. If you registered your camera with Nikon, they will inform you when a new firmware is released.
Really, there is nothing more you can reset on the camera.
So if something is wrong, it can't be helped with the reset you have in mind, because that reset does not exist.
If you want the firmware 1.1, goto Nikon USA and support. Everything you want is there.

I don't hunk there is anything like reset your camera. Nikon allows you to set back settings, each to a certain level, but that has nothing to do with a compete reset, like you would do on a computer or phone.
If your camera should be "reset" Nikon would not only say reset the camera, but also should explain how to do that in the instruction for how to put in a new update.
Hi,
Try this,
1. Check your Windows Device Manager and see if all hardware is recognized and installed properly.
2. It might be that the hardware is recognized as a camera, but the right drivers are not
installed. The yellow explanation mark will indicate a problem.
3. In that case you can try to update the drivers. Right-click the device, and in the
popup menu select Update Driver Software. Then follow the instructions on screen, but
make sure you allow Windows to search the web for updated drivers.
If this works and helpful, please give a testimonial and vote by pressing button four thumbs up icon.
Sincerely,
Thiyaga
Please reset the router by using pressing the reset button for 10 seconds. Default username : admin, default password : admin

Updating and Restoring iPhone Software
You can use iTunes to update or restore iPhone software. You should always update iPhone to use the latest software. You can also restore the software, which returns iPhone to its original state.
If you restore, all data is erased from iPhone, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. All iPhone settings are restored to their original state.
1. Make sure you have an Internet connection and have installed the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com/itunes. 2. Connect iPhone to your computer. 3. In iTunes, select iPhone in the Source pane and click the Summary tab. 4. Click “Check for Update.” iTunes tells you if there’s a newer version of the iPhone software available. 5. Click Update to install the latest version of the software. Or click Restore to restore iPhone to its original settings and erase all data on iPhone. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the restore process.
