When the door is opened for any long length of time, the light will get hot, remember it should switch off when you close the door, just peek through the seal without opening the door & see if you can see any light if so you will have to adjust the activating switch.
Hello, This is a common problem, the first thing to check is the overall internal refrigerator temperature. The proper temperature should be between 35-42 degrees. Here are some things to try:
If your refrigerator temperature is closer to 25 degree try turning the temperature up slightly.
If you find the temperature varies a lot from the top shelf to the bottom(where it is coldest) try putting produce or other sensitive product on a higher shelf
If the temperature is too low and you cant make it warmer by adjusting the thermostats, you probably have a defective thermostat. If so you need to replace it because they cannot be repaired. Other possible problems are a leak in the seal(refrigerant) system, cold air migration(in side by side models) or a defective air damper.
Check your thermostat control (it is the control that adjust the temperature), maybe it's sensor is malfunctioning that why it does'nt automtically defrosting
I would pull the refrig out , and remove the back panel , covering the compressor and fan motor . Check to see if the fan is working . Fan not working , causes the divider panel , to get very hot . Also , fan not working , causes the compressor to over heat and cut off on the overload .
Could be a control board issue, a broken wire somewhere, maybe the plug came off of the board. Try to unplug the refrig and plug it back in....A lot of times that will reset the board
your hot water supply might not be getting to the machine.
check the filters in the hot water supply hose.
If the waters not hot enough the hot water light will flash,or you can go into Options adjustment,in your user manual, then adjust you water temperature, its is easy.
Evaporator is probably overiced as a result od door not being completly closed at some time recently, turn off and defrost overnight with the doors open, turn on the next day and it should work ok within 24hrs.
