SOURCE: No input signal, go to power save sony sdm-hs93

I f you see the message on the screen indicating 'NO INPUR SIGNAL', you need to check the VGA cable and both ends of the connectors also. Try this monitor with other PC also.

This SDM-HS73/93 have common problem: bad backlight assemblies due to poor workmanship in sodlering works, see my pictures below. You should also inspect the caps. This is not recommend for DIY.

I TRIED TO RESET THE RESOLUTION. THE SCREEN WENT BLANK AND THE MESSAGE ON THE SCREEN SAYS IMPUT SIGNAL OUT OF RANGE

Hello,
I believe the max resolution this LCD can support is 1440 x 900 / 75 Hz. If you set your display resolution higher then that, you will receive the input signal out of range error. Your LDC turns off to protect it self from the invalid settings. If you can not change it back once your PC boots to windows, you may have to do it in save mode by pressing F8 once you power on your PC and before the windows loading screen starts.

My desktop monitor direct go in power save mode.so please solve it as soon as possible its urgent

power save mode indicates no input signal. Check the input signal with a known good monitor. if the signal is good then dell monitor is faulty. Power cycle (unplug the power then plug it back in) the monitor to reset to factory and if it still goes directly into power save mode the unit is faulty.

No Imput signal moves on screen instead of screensaver

cb5547, Do you SEE the strange "no signal""no input" messages when other programs are running such as MSword, Excel, IE8, ? I would guess that when very strange things begin to occur "ON SCREEN" of an LCD display, that something might be about to go bad in the unit's power supply. In any case a technician should evaluate it for you. In the mean time hook_up (swap-in) a working monitor to prove that your PC is working correctly. report back here with a new comment on fixya and I will suggest a few things you can try.
