Yamaha 9000pro, Ps is ok but unit will not boot

You may need to perform a factory reset operation. Turn power off, hold down the DEMO button and turn the keyboard back on. The
screen should display 'Setup is initialising'. This will disappear after a few seconds and the screen will display its default. If that does not work you may need to re-install program disks, I think you should have 6 of them

Coaxial input is not functioning in Yamaha RXV 530

Do you have the receivers "Audio Input" set to "Auto?"
There is a small button on the front of the receiver to set audio for either: "Analog, Digital, or Auto" and you can double check it in the "On Screen Menu", "Manual Setup" "Audio" Hope this helps, if you still have an issue, check the "Source"(DVD,Cable Box, etc) setup mode as well.

Cant get anything when i use the two hdmi inputs in and one hdmi out to a monitor

First thing to check, If you turn your monitor on to the correct input you should be able to see an immage from your receiver. It may be a setup screen, blue screen or flash as you change inputs on the receiver. If you do not see anything from the receiver check the HDMI cable from the monitor out of the receiver to the input on your monitor. Next is the setup of the DVD player and the Yamaha receiver. Check that the receiver HDMI ports are turned on and assigned to the correct port. Check that the disc player is setup to out put HDMI and that formats like DTS are turned on if your receiver supports this. This will give you the best picture and sound out of the equipment you have. To get in to the set up of your DVD player and receiver and use the on screen display you may need to connect them to the monitor with a composite video cable first. Make sure the monitor is on the correct input. Once you have finished the setup you should be able to switch the monitor back to the HDMI input.

No auto setup display on TV

For the setup functions you have to use either the monitor out (a yellow jack on the top-right corner of the back) or you have to use component video out. HDMI will NOT work for setting up the system. This is one complaint to Yamaha from all of us.

Problem is starting Auto Setup on my Yamaha rx-v463 receiver

You need to press the AMP button before you press the ENTER button. Always press AMP first when selecting menu, enter, any surround mode, or one of the amp functions in ORANGE above the green numeric buttons.

Got this from Yamaha.

In order to see the OSD (On Screen Display) setup menus provided by the YSP1000, it has to be connected to a display device!

This is very clear in the manual which I gather you haven't read.
