See if reducing the number of things connected to the generator will stop your problem. Disconnect or turn off some things that are not totally necessary.
To properly generate electricity, the engine is required to maintain an rpm within a specific range. If you load down the generator with too many things pulling power, the engine will not have enough HP to turn the generator within the set rpm range. It goes under-speed or under-voltage and you get a fault.
Going to the extreme, if you disconnect everything from the generator and it still fails, you have a generator problem

Could be the idle is set too low. Check your manual for location of the choke. The choke lowers and raises the idle speed. You want to engage the choke when starting the motor so it gets a little more mixture, then slowly reduce it. If the choke is stuck or in the wrong position, the idle will be too low. If you can't find the manual, do a search online and download it.

Could be a bad magneto coil, check for spark right after it shuts down. If no spark you need a new coil, If you have a bad coil it will heat up and will not generate a spark but after it cools down it will work until it gets hot.

I have the 18KW model and was told that most alarms relate to a low battery. Make sure the battery charger in the Transfer Switch is properly feeding the battery or hook up a mobil battery charger to the battery and see if the alarm goes away. Good Luck.

The fire alarm (usually an open contact, held closed during healthy operation) MUST go in series with the supply to the switch. This is normally incoming to a terminal which is linked between the hand and auto positions. If this is a full control panel, the fire alarm connection SHOULD be used to drop out the entire control circuit. Can you supply wiring diagram?
