depends on who you had test the alternator
if the local spares shop did it it may be putting out 14.5v ac not DC as required and this will leave the battery light on and not charge the battery
I always suggest a bench test at an accredited auto electricians shop and if the unit is ok then they have the instruments to find the drain problem
make sure battery cables are secure at battery terminals and clean.how old are the batteries. If the batteries run down fast they are no good.a good way to test them is put scooter against some thing solid and go forward. If the battery indicator drops to o the batteries are no good.It takes about 10 hours to charge the batteries
put a volt meter on the battery then start it up if the voltage increases its working the charging system only puts out about 8amps small mower batteries are only goo for a couple years if all that isn't good remove the top cover and see if mice chewed threw the wires
King, many times this happen, don't worry, put your device on charge 2 to 5hours it will solved, if problem persist, change battery, because this sounds me a only battery problem. there is one another way (if you are not sure don't try this) we call that direct charging first take one charger who has light on head and then cut the charging connector of charger and then you will see two colours of wires separate the black and red wires (red wire is positive line and black is negative line) and then connect to current supply but make sure there wire are separated otherwise it will have a short circuit and then take battery and search + and - connector and then red wire connect on battery positive connector and black on negative connector if you connect properly you will see the charging light are getting dim. that mean it is charging, do direct charge for 10 min and then switch on your device with battery and put in charge normally. this will solve your problem. if my sugetion was helpful please rate it.
The battery light does not necessarily indicate a problem with the batteries but does warn you if there is a problem with the charging system.
The likely scenario is that the alternator has gone bad. You will need to charge the batteries or jump start the vehicle and with it running check for voltage at the battery. You should see more than 13.5 volts and ideally somewhere around 14+ volts. If you see anything less than its likely the alternator has gone bad.
Absolutely i would put a voltage meter tester on the battery terminals with the vehicle running you should have a reading of 13.29 to 14.29 anything lower would indicate not charging efficiently
Red light indicates that the camera is out of charged., Try to charged your battery for 3-4 hrs if you encounter flashing red on a fully charged battery you need to call kodak 1 800 235 6325 ext 12
You can charged you camera using 5V AC Adaptor or a USB cable taht attached into the computer
