The oven will not heat 290 on the bake mode and the convection/bake mode. The cleaning cycle did not clean the oven either. So, I am thinking about trying to find the reset button, turning off circuit breaker to reset the oven, or consider replacing the two heating elements? What do you think?

the problem was fixed by opening the panel between the oven cavity and the touch panel just behinf the door. you can look through the grill but to trip the reset you must unscrew the panel. you will find the reset back behind the wires Looks a red button nestled on top not very open but it should be there> i do have to say i found a step by step description on this site. but right now i can't tell you who exactly he was.

Thanks for the tip. Had the same problem, everything seemed to work except for the heating elements. Removed the vent cover inside the door just below the control panel. Found the reset button and also found one of the large black power wiires had come loose from its connector. Turned off the power at the breaker box, checked for voltage with a meter and re-attached wire connector with insulated pliers. Oven works now. Lets call this failure "poor workmanship at Dacor".
it could be the oven temp sensor rod located near the top of the inside of the oven,or possibly the bake element has a hot spot on the element and can no longer pass enough current thru this spot to correctly heat to your settings a hot spot on the element will look discolored in this area
