go to create sms message when opens hit center button and choose entry mode setup there you can pick and choose what options for txt you want IE: T9 iTAP or TAP
1. press the middle button "-" at the top of the v3 keypad.
2 go to settings, and press on the button with a screwdriver and spanner
3. go to ring styles, press on the line below style.
4.Go to text msgs and press change to alter
Somce cell phone carriers can block outgoing texts, separately from incoming texts.. You might want to check with your cell company and see if they accidentally blocked your incoming.
according to the technician i had met mostly of motorola the problem when you make or create it restarted.... the solution he make he juz format my phone not the ordinary formatting that we seen our naked eye.. he juz type on the phone a code or combination to format my phone.. in nokia i know how you can format it...itself will format itself..by juz pressing * ,3,call and hold power button..for nokia 6600 and etc...
You can txt yourself the sound and when you receive the txt you save it as a ringtone. If you have a computer with bluetooth capability you can send ringtones that you can make yourself through bluetooth. I use create-a-ringtones.com, make my own and transfer them to my phone. If anyone else wants the ringtone I just txt it to them. I just did about 18 ringtones for my husband and he has the motorola adventure v750.
