Sounds like the control board, but most times the magnetron fails and if a fuse failed then it needs a capacitor too

Display turn off and the buttons are not clickable

The owner's manual is here. Be sure you have the clock set correctly.

You can also try a hard reset by unplugging the oven for a couple of minutes, plugging it back in, resetting the clock, and trying again.

Hotpoint hood microwave combo/ since changing lightbulbs in hood, fan and lights don,t work even though read out states they're on. Microwave still works,

We see (and repair) this a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which we regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week or so.

This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.

This can often also affect the exhaust fan, cooling fan, turntable, and/or inside light operation, too.

Details of our service are at our Web site, along with a video showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Feel free to contact me directly with your brand, full model number and symptoms.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

How do you replace intermittent door switch on Hotpoint RVM1335BC001 microwave

Open the Micro door, and remove the air/Vent cover on the top if there is one, Usualy 2 screws on top or the middle of the cover.
Remove the screw holding the Controller board and then you will have access to the door switches 2-3 of them depending on Manif.

Also make sure you have the power unpluged befoe you do any of this.

Good luck!

Kenmore 363.6367 internal light doesn't go on

I had the same problem! I was soooo frustrated! But, when my brother came to town, he took off the grill on the top of the micro hood, took out a few more screws, a plastic screen, another screw in the metal cover for the light and then reached in with his fingers to pull out the light bulb, we replaced it, then re-assembled it. It did take us about 30 minutes to do the job and you will need a phillips screwdriver, and a phillips screwdriver drill bit thing, but we were able to do it. I love having the light in the microhood again.
