Make sure the wifi/3g is turned on and connected to a network with internet access. You might need to refresh your router and modem as my Galaxy Tab sometimes gets messed up if I log on to another wifi network away from home. i.e. McDonalds/Pizza Hut etc. I may be connected to my wifi, but my tablet doesn't have a correct IP address if it has one at all. The internet speed can be a factor as games don't use a much bandwidth as apps like Google and Facebook.

This solution works for more than the 760. i think it will work for all 6xx and 7xx series. a simple solution to convert Google maps to Garmin routes and is found here: http://www.elsewhere.org/journal/gmaptogpx/
In essence, you create your route in Google maps and then click the recommended url bookmark.
