I just relocated my computer into a new location and when it's hooked up, it beeps to say that it has scanned something, but it doesn't send info to the computer and it freezes the scanner for a period of time and then shuts down my keyboard and I need to restart my computer completely!!!!
Sounds like something is plugged in wrong or when you were moving it something came ajar. Sometimes cards in memory slot, pci slots or pcie slots come ajar when moving. Open desktop and inspect all your cards in their slots You will see what I am talking about if you open it up.
even if one of the cards is a tad crooked it will act like you are saying, it shuts down to protect itself and sometimes it is too late. Just push down on all the cards in slots to make sure they are firmly in place. See what happens.

The Razzberry Tone is what I'm hearing. Acording to the trouble shooting I should return the unit for repair. Thanks for you help!

You programmed it for usb interface, but the scanner is keyboard wedge. Try pointing the scanner at the "recall defaults" barcode in the manual as you plug the scanner back in.

for the scanner, u need to program it to suit Casio Cash Register, eg: baud rate, parity , data bit & so on...other wise, the Cash Register cannot receive the signal from the scanner.
After program the scanner , please perform "flag clear" to the cash register.

If it is using the MX009 USB Cable it wont scan with the standard configuration. You will need extra configs such as enable Rs-232 Mode, Enable Xon/Xoff handshaking etc..

I moved my PC and when I hooked up the scanner. It would scan then lock up but failed to read the bar code into my Epos system. I have reprogrammed it without any problems but still won't scan bar codes.
Same problem here. I have reset it and reconfigured, but no-go
