I have a 40" samsung flat screen TV and the hdmi stopped working. I thought the cable had gone bad so i went out and purchased another and that one did not work either. So, my guess is that it must be the hdmi plug in on the back of the tv. When I plug it into the dvd player(also samsung) all i get is a blinking blue screen(no sound. When I plug the hdmi into my cable box and turn on the tv I get a picture for about 2 seconds, then a quick green screen and then nothing. however, I do get sound when it is plugged into the cable box. TV works fine when I use the component(yellow/red/blue) cables.
Main Bd part# BN94-00629F and sells for $201.00 that includes a 50.00 dud. Encompassparts.com
SOURCE: Only 1 hdmi outlet on
Don't used the Blu Ray player on the tv HDMI out put hub.Used the connections for of the Blu Ray player connections by a S-Video cable for the video and the RCA component cable R,W for the connections for the audio out.The high Def.cable box will not work for high Def. this way,but the Blu Ray player will.

Hello, you recently posted that I need a main signal board replacement for my LN-R408D 40" led tv. Just curious, what are you basing your answer on and do you think it could be as simple as replacing the hdmi connector? The tv works fine using the component cables.
also, any recomendations on where to get the main signal board replacement and how much it costs?
