Tried to replace my Leviton 4-port hub with Netgear 8-port FS108 switch at home. I plugged my modem into slot 1 on the fs108 and my other computers into slots 2, 3 and 4. I can access the internet from the first computer I try, but when I try another computer, it says it can't find the connection. When I reboot the modem and switch and try a different computer, I can access the internet but if I try another computer, it says it can't find a connection just like before. My service is Comcast and the modem is Motorola. With the 4-port hub I had no problems. I understand different IP addresses are used when networking different computers. Could that be part of the problem? So much for the auto sensing and 'Auto Uplink' that Netgear promotes. I've gone back to using my 4-port hub until I can resolve this issue. Thanks, Doug
