The power button don't turn on the laptop

Hello! My HP ProBook 4525s has the following problem: When I try to start the laptop, the power button blinks twice and not start; Meanwhile Display, flash twice. I removed the battery and turned it on only charger and do the same. I disconnected more consumers like HDD, RAM, Wi-Fi module, keyboard and have the same problem. I checked the connectors. It is possible to damage the motherboard? Please help me! Thank you!

The RAM is not connected properly or it may have become damaged
you know it is useless to power up a battery powered computer without RAM so it blinks twice to tell you the situation then stays off.

try replacing the RAM with a new one

if you get the led symptom then the motherboard / RAM slot has an issue and if there is no life without battery then the adaptor or its connector is bad

SOURCE: blinking white amber light above power cord

The power supply is the issue, or the DC jack in the laptop has developed bad connections, or ram issue. Remove 1 stick of ram and power on, if no! remove second one, and replace the first, power up, if no! test the power supply for proper voltage, if okay! it is a DC jack or motherboard problem.

SOURCE: hp probook 4530 ac connected indicator flashing. will not power up

Remove the battery, Plug in the AC charger. Push and hold the Power on button for 45secs. If this doens't reset. The fault is most likely the System/Motherboard. If the unit is under warranty, contact HP and arrange a repair.

Hello,

you do not need to install any special software.

Here is what you have to do to turn off the mouse pad of your hp probook 4525s;

Turn on your hp probook 4525s, wait till it boots completely.

Click start,

Scroll to Control Panel select Control Panel.

Under control panel, (you will find a Mouse icon), click Mouse and a dialogue box will pop out.

On the dialogue box, click "Device settings".

Under device settings, you will find "Synaptics Touchpad..."

Highlight the "Synaptics Touchpad..." by clicking on it once, then click disable.

By now the mouse pad should be disabled. Apply the changes for it to take affect.

To enable follow the same procedure and click enable using an external USB mouse.
