Both the flush buttons have jammed in the flush position.

To open the assembly, first line up the flush buttons with the float mechanism. This aligns tabs on the button mechanism with a slot on the mating surface allowing you to 'pop' the button assembly off with the help of a screwdriver. It will also prevent breaking off the tabs. If you break off the tabs, the button assembly will not lock in place when you reassemble it (speaking from experience).
2. Carefully pop off the button assembly with the help of a screwdriver.
3. Disengage the lever from the valve assembly by carefully prying with a screwdriver (see video).
4. Pop off the lever from the axle on button assembly and remove.
5. With some fine grit sand paper or emery cloth, polish the casting marks off of the axle.
6. Reassemble the mechanism. Assembly is the reverse of disassembly.

How to Troubleshoot a Flushometer

A flushometer consists of a metal pipe extending from the back of a toilet with a slender handle on the side that is used to flush a toilet. This type of flush valve is commonly used for toilets in commercial facilities to provide a durable and accurate flush delivery system. If the flushometer does not work properly, troubleshoot it and perform minor repairs. Common issues are often resolved quickly. If troubleshooting does not correct the problem, call a plumber for repairs.

Does Not Flush

1 Inspect the handle assembly. A broken handle or assembly will prevent flushing. If damaged, unscrew and remove the handle assembly. Replace the handle or repair it with a handle repair kit

2 Open the main water supply valve to turn the water on fully. The water supply is normally turned on, but check to make sure it is turned on fully and has not been turned off inadvertently

3 Remove the flushometer's CP cover, the round cap on the very top of the pipe extending from the toilet. Then remove the inside cover directly underneath the cap. Inspect the relief valve. Replace it if it is visibly damaged.

Short Flush

1 Remove the CP cover and inside cover. The CP cover is located on the very top of the pipe extending from the back of the toilet. The inside cover is underneath the CP cover and the diaphragm assembly is located beneath the inside cover. Remove and inspect the diaphragm assembly. A damaged diaphragm assembly can cause a short and incomplete flush. Replace it if it is visibly damaged.

2 Replace or repair the handle assembly. A damaged handle can result in a short flush. If damaged, unscrew and remove the handle assembly. Replace the handle or repair it using a handle repair kit.

3 Remove the CP cover and inside cover to remove the diaphragm assembly. If a low consumption diaphragm is installed on a water-saver fixture or a urinal diaphragm is installed on a toilet fixture, replace it with an appropriate diaphragm.

Have old kohler, i do not know what the inside flapper part is. However toilet will flush but tank will not fill. I can turn thhe water to the tank off and turn on again and it will fill

This indicated that there is dirt of corrosion in the flush valve assembly that get jarred loose and flushed out when turning on the supply valve below. My recommendation is replacing the flush valve assembly with a Fluidmaster flush valve. Be sure to follow the instructions when removing the old valve and installing the new one. If you need step by step instructions, please message me and I will provide them.

Looking for instructions on how to replace headlights on a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee; purchased replacement fixtures, but can't figure out how to remove/replace.

Is this the headlight bulb replacement or headlight (assembly) replacement? For bulb replacement:
1. Disconnect negative side of battery.
2. Open hood.
3. Reach behind the neadlight assembly and disconnect the wiring connectors.
4. There is a locking ring around the back of the headlight assembly. Turn this counterclockwise.
5. Gently pull out the bulb.
6. Insert new bulb into the locking ring.
7. Place these back onto back opening and turn clockwise making sure it is flush and totally engaged.
8. Replug wiring connector.
9. Reconnect negative side of battery.

As i drive after a while the engine cutts off and the oil light comes on! I have replaced all thd plugs the oil pressure swicth the shut down relay the crank sensor and more! I still cant figure it out?

See list of possible causes shown in specific order below. Repair as required. STEP 1): DRIVEABILITY: Check for possible driveability issue that may cause or contribute to engine stall out. Condition may be caused by crankshaft position sensor (CPS) signal drop out. Suggest use Co-Pilot tool to data record the event. Repair as required. STEP 2): COOLER FLOW: Check trans cooler system flow rate. Trans should be fully warmed up. Use special tool 6906A (trans cooler system flush machine). For directions see MasterTech Reference Book #12 / December 1996 or see instruction sheet included with the tool. COOLER FLOW TEST RESULTS: WITH Aux Cooler: Pressure indicated on the gauge should stabilize below (20) psi. WITHOUT Aux Cooler: Pressure indicated on the gauge should stabilize below (30) psi. Higher pressure indicates cooler system is restricted. Repair as required. May require radiator and/or auxiliary cooler replacement. STEP 3): CIRCUIT WIRING: Check TCC (torque converter clutch) solenoid circuit wiring and connectors. Check for shorts to power or ground or chafing (rub-through). Check circuit wiring inside trans pan area. Repair as required. Check for electrical add-on equipment that may be involved. Remove add-on equipment if required and discuss with owner. If no circuit wiring problems are found replace the TCC solenoid. STEP 4): VALVEBODY: Remove and inspect valvebody assembly for stuck valves / cracks / damage / uneven mating surfaces / loose retaining screws / other. Check all mating surfaces with a precision straight edge tool. Clean and recondition valvebody assembly as required. Torque all screws to proper specification. Replace valvebody assembly if necessary. STEP 5): PUMP ASSEMBLY: Replace trans pump assembly / input shaft / seal rings / torque converter.

Hope this helps.
